I just love your taste and design in the house and this certainly follows through into the garden. What a beautiful, tranquil haven you have created! ❤
What a wonderful compliment, that is so generous of you to say! ☺️🙏🏻 It has taken a lot of hard work and still does but I count my blessings every day, such a peaceful place to live. Hope you are having a great week xx🥰
I love your property! We moved from the big city to a small town on 23 acres It is so peaceful here, so I totally understand how you feel! Enjoy all that beauty around! The last you called geranium looks like Lady's mantle to me. I have one and love it!
LOOOOVE YOUR GARDEN! with all the different rooms and nooks and hedges that compel you to explore. What a luxury of space and wildlife and best of all your own stream!!! Wow! Thanks for the garden tour!!!
Love, love your property!! I use to have a lot of daffodils in the back of my yard, but this past summer it didn’t come back at all, I don’t know what happen, there are a lot of animals here, and we’re not allowed to have fence. Could they have dug up the bulbs, they don’t bother the irises.HiTracey again from all of us here in West Bloomfield MI US.
Helloooo and thanks for watching!! Yes they could have been eaten or just rotted away. Pop some more in in the autumn and I’m sure you’ll get a lovely display again😊
I would have loved having those three acres when I was younger. sadly I can't get out and garden like I used to, but I am enjoying seeing yours, it reminds me so much of my grandma's garden when I was a child back in the fifties. thank you for sharing with us.
Your property with the mature trees and shrubs is absolutely breathtaking. No wonder you find it so peaceful. For the old mangle.... Just add an old galvanized watering can and a few different size old terracotta pots ....would add instant interest, and can be left to the elements . I would love to come out that kitchen door in the morning , with a nice cup of coffee , and hear the gravel under my feet. A morning garden walk about is pure tranquility to me. The view into your formal garden is amazing! I am blown away that you and your husband take care of this all by yourselves. The well is something out of a fairytale!!! The stream, the bridge..... what a blessing to live among such beautiful nature. I will be dreaming of this garden tonight. Have a Happy Mothers Day!
Thank you so much Liane and you are so right about the mangle! I’ve only recently put it there and haven’t got round to styling it but I will tomorrow promise!! It is wonderful walking here particularly at first light with a mug of coffee down in the field with Bertie the Lab watching the sun come up and the wildlife scurrying around… the most peaceful time in my day. I’m so pleased you got that feeling too from the video. Enjoy the rest of your weekend darling xx🥰
I wanted to save my viewing until today, so I could enjoy it while relaxing in my favorite outdoor place. How wonderful nature is! Your garden is to live for. Like a child, I would have to be called indoors. 😊. Continue to Enjoy living my dear! Thanks so much for sharing another view of nature’s paradise. 🌺
Oh I love that Linda! Hope you are enjoying your favourite spot. It was actually your comments on the courtyard last week that inspired me to do the garden tour so thank you 😊 You must let me know what other videos you’d like to see 😁 have a great week sweetie ♥️
The leaves that hold the droplet of water look like Alchemilla. Ladys-Mantle. I grew these many years ago in Chesham Buckinghamshire. I love your taste in recycle furniture, etc,. A woman out of my own heart. ♥️
Absolutely stunning, you are so so lucky x thank you for sharing, the garden, field , wood and creek😊made me smile its so beautiful with all the spaces and mature shrubs and trees 🌳 badgers! 🦡 owls deer ..how wonderful❤️ shed city! how fun for diy projects!
I have just discovered your channel and as we are soon moving to our country house, it is the prefect inspiration for my garden. I am a big fan of hydrangeas and tulips. Love and saved your idea of potting the hydrangea cuttings🌱🌷
Hello and welcome Delia! Hydrangeas are just wonderful aren’t they, flowering all summer long and the heads are great for drying! So far I’ve had great success with the cuttings and I’ll be taking more later this year. Your move sounds so exciting, good luck with it! 🥰
Hi Tracy, I’m finally getting to see your outdoor surroundings, how absolutely beautiful!! The geranium leaf that blooms yellow you mentioned is in fact Alchemilla mollis, also called Ladies Mantle. It’s loved for how its leaves hold water droplets after a shower 💦 I have them. They do spread over time, not evasively. Bertie is a Lucky Dog 😊
It's 11:15am on Saturday in Bellefontaine, Ohio USA. Thank you for the lovely relaxing garden tour. We have cloudy skies this morning, so it was refreshing to walk through with you. Best wishes and hugs💞
Good morning Charlene 🤗 I’m delighted you found it relaxing as that’s just how the gardens make me feel! We actually have lovely sunshine today which makes a change and I hope the sun finds you too 🌞Enjoy your weekend sweetie 🥰🥰
Oh Stacey what a big and great garden you have. I wish i have such a garden (i have a small one) but i try to plant as much different plants i get. I enjoyed this video . Thank you
Lady’s Mantel is the one with the yellow greenish flower colour. Its used for womens health ( menstruation, post partum, menopausia,...) You can use the whole plant ( not the roots) fresh or dried as a tea.
Hi Tracey, I just love your garden. How did you lay your pea gravel around your home and driveway? Did you put any underlayment, ground cover or just over the dirt? I'm looking to do the same with less cost effective means. Thanks for your help and all the inspiring videos and how to's!

Thank you for your tour - just love your property which seems larger than 3 acres and of course, your beautiful house.
Thank you so much!🙏🏻🤗
Why not make wild garlic pesto. Great use of the garlic. It freezes so I can use throughout the year on top of salads.
I have done in the past and will do this year!💚
How incredibly heavenly! With narrative to match ... 😊
Oh thank you so much, it’s a peaceful place to live🙏🏻♥️
Absolutely beautiful garden. Who trims all of your tall bushes?

Oh thanks Julie, yes the land and location were the reason I bought the place. The house was tiny and dated but I knew I could change that 🥰
The entire property is so divine! You and hubby have done it all! Just amazing. Im in heaven watching from Australia.
Thank you Lucy! It’s lots of hard work but keeps us fit! 😀

Very nice. Love the sculpted shrubs. Hydrangeas are a favorite of mine too.
May we know what is the gravel in your driveway/car park?
Thank you so much for watching! The gravel is pea shingle 20mm, hope that helps 😁😊🙏🏻
@@RuralRefurb thank you. Yes, it does help!

Thank you Kristin! It grows like crazy here, popping up everywhere even in the gravel 😁
Love your garden. Nice mix of formal and natural.

Plant name is Alchamilla mollis
Thank you! I’m terrible with the names of plants so rely on viewers to keep me informed!! 🙏🏻😊🌸

I put hardcore and type 1 down first, whacked it then put the pea beech over😊
That’s not a geranium. It’s alchemilla mollis (Lady’s Mantle).
Oh thank you so much! I’ve just Googled it and yes the flowers are the same. Now I know 😁
