@@KK-lg8uz Lighten up, Grinch. It's a bit of light-hearted fun. Whoever said that the news has to be deadly serious and depressing 24 hours a day, 365 days a year? I'll leave it to you to spot where you missed a comma.
I'm surprised they didn't do disclaimers on this about correlation not being the same as causality. Surely it'd better to chat to a scientist rather than a journalist.
Classic correlation vs causation. People that have a coffee in the morning can at least afford the coffee, and have better living standards and consequently better health outcomes. So it's a proxy.
It actually depends with what you drink it. If I drink mine with cow milk then I have problem with gut, so I get constipated because cow milk destroys your good gut bacteria. My best advice is get use to oat milk no added sugar. Just keep the natural sugar in it. What shocks me the most is the word MAY that researchers use. That is not the correct word it should be used. You can say for some people it might be helpful but not for others. I know people who if they drink a coffee their adrenaline goes high and they're very hyper. Even their hearts beat more because of caffeine. That would not be good for their heart. We are in 2025. A study must be made based on blood type. We have A, B, AB and O Positive and Negative. Do a test on each blood type for weeks and months or even years and see the results. From my experience, O negative people don't need extra caffeine because they're hyper by nature. They have energy and clarity. A negatives do sometimes need caffeine but they must be careful because they're close to O negative when it comes to hyper. I believe people who need a lot of coffee are B, O, AB and A positives. Mostly the positive people because they are slow in mind. I deal with a lot of people and sometimes I ask them about their blood type and when I check their usage of coffee I can see that positive people need it. After all why do you drink a coffee? To wake up. The negative blood type is more active and awaken than positives. Even other medications should be tested based on blood type and this MAY would actually not apply at all. Some people can take 1 paracetamol and their head stops hurting some take even 3 and it's still there. I am sure it's down to blood type because it's the blood that moves everything in us. I feel like I did my own research and published it on BBC.
Commercial oat milk is anything but. More like a toxic concoction full of inflammatory seed oils at best. Now if you make your own, that is another story.
