For the hustle armor: Imho for the majority builds which could opt for treachery in mid to mid-late game, hustle is not only competing, but strictly better. The +6 evade basically is a minimum "take 40% reduced damage while moving", which will be more beneficial than 50% elemental resis and 15%physical damage reduced on those builds since most of them are not standing still, but wiggling around. At least people should :D The ias is comparable and the 65% runspeed is a ton of value on top. Fairly busted for a 39 runeword, can definatly see running it on for example on a sin, barb or zon until enigma is established.

Assassins are the hot deal right now, and there are tons of new MA and Trap builds that has been going around. Very interesting times for D2R :)
I dont know how much they have actually copied the code from d2 legacy, because if they have, some of those things coded 20 years ago can be very problematic to change later on

Most ladder builds/characters will be the same as in non ladder (at least in endgame). I think few people will test the melee assassin once they have enough currency to burn ... but thats really it. Doing the same farm runs with the same farm character as usual. We really some improvement there.
I play hc, got 99 on paladin s2. Looking to play something different like a barb or assassin. Might choose barb though because I think there will be alot of assassins now with these changes
Nice to see a HC player commenting. IF you are playing with a group or planning to at least play with others, Barb will have great value. Sin is a bit more suitable for solo as well imho. But of course, you can play both either for group play or solo anyway. Good luck!
Do you have a group for hc ladder yet? I'm still undecided on starter but I rolled a hdin and bowa last season (found tyreal's for my bowa and rolled a perfect Mist in a 3+ gmb). I'd like to party up if you're down.

Very good question. The main principle for duo builds is the ability to have multiple elements of magic. Example: Fire Trapsin Early game + Fire Sorc early game which then transforms into Lightning Sentry Trapsin + Blizzard Cold Sorceress for hell. I recommend these 3 duo comps: 1- Trapsin + Sorceress (trapsin may take dragon flight to catch up with sorc or sorc can tp) 2- Pala (conviction FoH)+ Fire Druid 3- Trapsin + Pala (conviction) >> MA Sin + Hammerdin late game 2-
Don’t worry we got you. The easiest to play is Hammerdin. You can gear him up relatively quickly. Blizzard sorc works wonders after obtaining the cold sunder charm with some enemy -% cold res gear. Flikering flame become top choice for flame trap for weapon pheonix + good plague or hearth of oak. armor enigma becose we don't have big choice here, hands mage fist. This build will be good.
My 3 cents on necromancer in 2.6: Bone necro is absolute garbage PvM and is only used to solo game as 1st playthrough or dueling. Poison nova nec with death web, 3 parts of trang and full skillers/torch/anni 1 shots all in player 1, in p8 serves as LR bot with decent dmg. Summoner with beast can work for solo, garbage for group.
Crescent Moon is the most viable option for budget enemy negative lightning item. Other alternatives are 6x lightning faceted swords. You can also use 4 OS chest armors + shields and socket facets in them. Make sure to balance stats and resistances though, because trapsin has nice fire blast and lightning sentry damage anyway.
time spent laying traps and waiting them to shoot, instead of killing right away always making trapsins a bit subpar imo and always a bit behind s tier. in group play often packs are already dead before your traps can do anything, even on p8. way more excited for mosaic phoenix strike might be comparable to javazon even
Interesting thoughts. Those are valid points I agree with. Mosaic MA sin will need charge-ups every game but she will get going pretty fast. Trapsin is a bit more safety oriented that can do well in early ladder push. Nice comment regardless, I agree.
@@Skulm ye true, though with 14 sec timer i think you only need charge them once per game. i would still say trapsin is superior before double mosaics, but after that I think ma might well have the advantage, being very safe aswell since it max fade + have weapon block
I'm not be so sure about Hustle weapon for necro or party, check radius for 1lvl fanatism, it's super short. But it's very interesting budget option for Frenzy Merc (for example Plage + Hustle for early casters).
The radius also bothers me, but at the same time it could be a nice option for summon necromancers since they suffer from gear a bit. A low budget teleport runeword would of course be 10x better imho.
Fury Druid should be fine as long as you don’t mind the clunky shifting. You’ll need to shift in and out of wolf and bear form by first going to your human form to keep up your marks. Other than that, it should do well.
I am going to point at Enigma and CTA here. Enigma provides +1 Teleport and CTA provides +6 Battle Orders (we all want that 6 BO). With +all skills items, we can raise their level. Therefore, the +6 to Evade can also be raised if combined with +all skill items like Arachnid Mesh, Harlequin Crest etc. My answer is yes it is affected by +all skills items.

Big side note is having a kuko on mercinary is a LOT more damage then having insight on her, even if its a high damage base~ I would compare it to jav zon speeds. No kidding.
For the fire druid, what's better? Perfect Ravenlore with 5/5 facet to give +5%/-25% fire resist or a 2 socket magic pelt with +3 elemental +3 fissure and 2 fire facets to give +10%/-10% fire reists?
i think fire sorc is awesome ! just because hydra now makes phizique dmg ! and w sunder charm it works fine. also u can use reaper`s toll on merc (its very cheap build)

You cannot go wrong with Hammerdin. Although you'll need to get Enigma ASAP

100% sure cold sorc will still be top of the meta. just avoid cold heavy areas, get a good mercenary, and you're the same sorc as before.
Doom runeword on a 1 handed double axe will serve as the ultimate damage weapon for cold sorc. She is definitely S+ tier.
Seems like Assassins are going to be OP this season
They are in a very good state. Not super strong as Sorc for early ladder but when geared they will be S tier for sure.
Necros still left in the mud. Looks like another Paladin season for me in D2 and at mleast a Necro in D3's upcoming season.

@@Skulm tottaly agree, only thing that could close gap between Sorc and rest of the characters are semi budget option for teleport.
More than likely gonna start druid or barb. Not sure which builds yet, but fury druid might be worth another shot with the new runeword.

Solo player enchant sorc with ES and a act 1 merc fire with insight. :P

We tested both and we reached highest DPS with phoenix + 6x faceted sword + perfect faceted Ravenlore.
