Just so you're aware, you can now enter Grafton Pawn, and begin an unmarked kind of "teaser quest" for Wastelanders. There's a lot of interesting notes that go along with it, and I think it might be worth covering

I’ve seen a little bit about the pawn shop being open, but haven’t checked it out yet. I’m planning on a few videos this Friday relating to the teased Wastelanders content in lieu of a lore video, I’ll add one on the pawn shop to the list of videos.
      Thanks for the tip!

Makes you wonder what sort of idiots gave some downvotes

I've come to expect that there are going to be people who downvote and that in some cases I'll never know why. Thanks for watching and the sentiment!

Even if the bombs didn’t drop, Appalachia was already screwed. So much horrible stuff was happening in this region.

It does fit within the Fallout World lore. :)

Delegating the running of a vital location such as a Prison to something such as an AI is clearly the actions of someone who doesn't intend to be there all that often, if not at all.
"But,sir; even the most efficient AI can go wrong!"
"Well, with the place being automated, there'll hardly be a reason for me to be there, so if it does go wrong, it's not my fault,it's the machine's.."

The disturbing thing about Eastern Regional Penitentiary is that it was the future of prisons. Appalachia seems to have been ahead of the curve on automation. It’s likely the practices at this prison would have spread across the country, that’s assuming that they hadn’t already begun to spread.

@@IrresoluteCartographer And let's not forget we see something similar at Camp McClintlock with the replacement of Human Training Staff. In fact, given a few years more, I suspect places like McClintlock would be closed down because why wait three years for a Soldier when you can wait three weeks or even three minutes for one to come off the assembly line with forty years of "training" already preprogrammed?

Imagine what a sentient mainframe with an army of assaultrons, sentry bots, and Mr. Gutsies could do...here’s hoping MODUS doesn’t think about that too much.

@@IrresoluteCartographer You're forgetting the Protectrons and Eyebots, the ones armed with lasers and nail guns can be a right pain in the arse!
