That way when she got up there she could speak clearly with the words she wanted to say and moments she wanted to capture. Not everyone has speeches wrote for them. What I saw at the RNC was a Grandfather who loves his family and legacy. I've never seen the republican party so unified and diverse. I was libertarian for over 15 years. I was raised republican. I'm proud to call myself republican again. The party now exactly aligns with what I believe. America first, everyone deserves multiple chances, the land of opportunity, live and let live, respect and dignity, reasonable entry into the country, medical freedom, and most importantly, a love and respect for the Constitution of the United States. Our definining document that lets everyone have rights and opportunities.
I'm 66 years old and for the first time in my life I watched the Republic Convention even though I have always been a Conservative. The speech by his granddaughter was so eloquent.
Thank God none of his grandchildren were there when he was shot. Every time you see Trump around his children and grandchildren they are always very close to him. The grandkids always give him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Children know when they are around someone that they can feel safe with.
Unfortunately some of them were watching the rally on tv. Luckily Don had taken his daughter and some friends fishing and didn't see it. And after getting a call, it was 90 minutes before Don was given details. Horrible.
Can't help but feel bad for the Firefighter that was killed! Definitely glad he didn't have family with him that day! It's so disturbing that people are still trying to attack him and find it amusing that he was shot. Sending prayers for all of the families affected by the incident.
There were other channels that showed Trump more, and you could tell he was so proud of her.
