RIP Fat Pat and 3-2 the buddah baby. I met 3-2 at the Screw Shop about 15 years ago and he was a very likable gentleman. I kept going back and forth for Coronas and I got throwed, I decided to drive back to Laredo, Tx that same night and when I was midway through I got a miss called so I called back and an old lady answered, I don't know if it was 3-2's mother or granny, it was a home phone at that time. A few mins later 3-2 called back and he said he just wanted to know if I was ok driving and I said yup, and that the motivation and love I received from him and his camp at that time was real. After that I kept taking 3-2 boxes of CDs my boy DJ 2 Dope Dave's mixtapes were hot at that time down here in south tx. Now he has TDK (Too Dope Klothing) boutique/barbershops running and operating in a lot of Texas Malls, had one at Deerpark Mall too, but it closed during covid. Much love to 3-2 fam and I heard you say he's your cousin, so sending peace and love to all the fam. 3-2 was a real one. Peace. RIP Da Buddah Baby 3-2

Donnie, Big Hawk said in an interview that he and Fat Pat grew up in Third Ward moved to DE at 13 years old than started repping DEA later on because of Fat Pat starting going to DJ Screw house freestyle rapping. Big Hawk interview on TH-cam

this man is not lying…. one of the humblest, coolest cats we’ve ever came across. but as he said it’s understood why some of the things happened to him and didn’t happen.we used to sit in his studio and chop game, work, write, make beats etc. This is in the late 2000’s when he had migrated to reason software to make beats and had the u-haul office space. when we tell you that some of the tracks he would play us in reason was mind blowing. we had been using reason since about 04-05 so we had a clue of what it could do,but the way his sounds would cut through the mix straight out of reason, his melodies you thought were samples were all played !! Some of the best beats heard , Slash Traxx one of the most underrated producers we’ve heard.

Was the song he was talking about with Peaches singing on it called “what’s goin on?” On the Southside Playaz Album ? I think that’s the track he was talking about.

Gerald, why you didn't tell them about Candland and when we went to get a deal with Rap-A-Lot. That's the first time we met N.O. Joe and Bido. That was a great song and was better than Tops Drop.

Everything he said was game and true , very very humble and one of the best of his craft . This star is about to win . God is watching and see's all . Slash 59 and westpark , respect people because you don't know what people will become . 32 was south Houston to cali and back and him self . One small correction, me and Spice 1 wasn’t from the Southside, Spice 1 was from a little small town outside Houston, I was from The Nawf (probably the first from the Nawf) on the greytapes…Go look it up. Back then my rap name was "Bishop”…but I do get was Slash was saying and he’s right. I was just an exception to the rule.
    Dope Interview though 🤞🏾

@@ad_stayfly7 I thought the same thing. He produced the elbows swangin beat. He got a distorted quality to his bass lines on beats he makes.
