Maybe it was when Subaru collabed with Maimoto from Niji. From what I understand it was pretty surprising for her to not only collab with a male, but also from a rival company, all at a pretty new time for the growing vtuber audience. I’d like to think this helped set a friendly trend for the future of the industry, but a very bold move for a new vtuber done slightly without regard to norms at the time.
