    just to let you know that jardine gp1 is refrikkingtarded loud.... i got the windscreen off of ebay for cheap. its from china (but what isn't). it was way under $50. i suggest getting the taller one like mine, the wind just hits the top of my helmet in a comfortable mini-tuck. i ride mine to work sometimes, 100 miles a day and it helps a ton on the fatigue factor of getting blasted by all the wind after a hard day of work.

    it is worth it. sounds waaay nicer. feels nicer in throttle and is quicker on the road

    the brake light is from china from ebay and if you drive in the city a lot i don't recommend it...the complete engine mods were approx. $800 with factory warranty work, i just bought the parts on the internet and brought them to MODESTO KAWASAKI and they installed the parts and tuned it for $280.

    Mine is a white special edition and I'm getting a proton flush mount with hid head lights. Rear fender eliminator and zero gravity double bubble with a integrated rear tail light. but hey yours is a nice black Ninja and way faster than mine.

  • @murdered2fiddy

    yes it is that much of a difference. consistent power through the rpms. should have come from the factory like this...

    I asked a Kawasaki mechanic down in Sheldon Iowa for his opinion if it's worth the time to do a dyno jet kit for the 250's and he said no because his customer complain that their bikes ran like crap..that's what I'm scared of because the dyno jet needs a lot of time to tune it. So he put in their stock needle and the bike ran normal

      How an exhaust system is harmful for the engine?No offense just asking

    • @saffronrexx1131
      @saffronrexx1131 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@deepdiamond5045 the exhaust might not let out enough heat and burn the exhaust valve but this exhaust is not a problem

    Bro, can u list all the mods that u did? I really like the way u put the bike together.

  • @mckben1
    @mckben1 13 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    @murdered2fiddy Nice mods mate. That exhaust is way to loud must be annoying if you ride everyday. Ive got the full carbon fiber yoshimura on mine which sounds sweet and I hear the two brothers is good as well. Is that a shinto hugger? Did you fit it and how much work was involved?

  • @murdered2fiddy
    @murdered2fiddy  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    well i guess that depends? if money isn't a big issue then go for it, especially if you can do the work yourself. the parts are less than $500 and a few hours of labor you will get 8-10hp...basically a ninja400

  • @ddrum1978
    @ddrum1978 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does the Jardine GP1 come with an insert to quiet it down a little. I want to buy one but I dont want to deal with being pulled over all the time. Hell harley bikes shake the ground I dont see the problem. Have you had a problem yet?

  • @coopergumby
    @coopergumby 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    wondering about the jetting that you had installed. dynojet stage 2. how is it in the lower RPMs. those things are sluggish to begin with from the factory. is it that much of a difference?

  • @brucemiller117
    @brucemiller117 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Curious if you kept stock carbs with that jet kit upgrade? I got an 08 and I'm looking for more power...i have yoshi aftermarket slip on and I can only top out at 105 but would like to bury speedometer if I wanted...thoughts?

  • @murdered2fiddy
    @murdered2fiddy  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @ddrum1978 it doesnt come with an insert but im going to try to get the baffle out and wrap it or something cuz its wayyyyyy loud.

    Hi I have the same model did you strip the yellow decals or did you buy it like that, and did you have to update anything in the engine to cut the exhaust?

    • @murdered2fiddy
      @murdered2fiddy  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      the decals just peel off. i never cut the exhaust, i ran stock until i went with the k&n, jardine full exhaust, and jet kit at once.

    • @larrycano83
      @larrycano83 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok cool thanks any recommendations on where to buy the exhaust and kit?
