  • Gonarezhou is 4X4 country! Although you can visit many parts of the Park in a high clearance 2wd, you’ll have much more freedom and flexibility in a 4X4. In this episode, Part Four of his Seven-Part Into The Wild Zimbabwe series on Gonarezhou, Gus Le Breton shares some of his tips on getting around in the Park. Included are descriptions of all six of the causeways across the Runde River, a couple of backroad routes through the Park (the Pombadzi Wilderness Drive and the Nyavasikana River Drive) and highlights from some of the many picnic sites and view points around Gonarezhou. Invaluable preparation for visitors to Gonarezhou, and compulsive viewing for armchair travellers.
Grateful thanks to the Gonarezhou Conservation Trust, Dave Brazier, Buck O'Donoghue and Jo Craig for their support and assistance in making this video.

I truly appreciate these uploads. We used to live just across the river from the nothern boundary of the park so each time i watch i get a serious dose of homesickness!
