In my opinion, New Beat Mix 3 & 4 are the two best. Good transitions, the music feels like something interesting and new that immediately captivates and inspires me. Still something surprising and new in 2024 but still as familiar as a childhood experience. That's the art of "New Beat".

Toen waren de hoogdagen van de New Beat al voorbij maar ik heb ze wel volop meegemaakt vanop de dansvloer van discotheken zoals o.a. de legendarische Boccaccio. Er zijn onlangs twee prachtige documentaires over de New Beat op Canvas geweest en zo kwam de 'goesting' weer opzetten om terug achter de draaitafels te kruipen ...

Je ne pensais pas qu'on puisse être fan à ce point :) Vous avez acheté tous ces vinyles ?
A l'époque, les vinyles n'étaient pas chers. Si je me souviens bien, aux alentours de 120 francs belges, soit 2 francs français. De plus tous ces morceaux passaient à la radio, il fallait juste savoir sur quelles stations (je me souviens de RGN, de Studio Brussels entre autres).
