I failed a job interview 4 days ago, I was so saddened by it because i have thrived to achieve my ambition, also i wanted to help my mom financially. I pondered what have i done wrong,and then made istighfar and kept repeating surah ad-dhuha to calm myself down. Allah is with me, Insha Allah. He wants to give me something better.

I prayed Istikhara, tahajjud and hajat to pray for some things from Allah that I need the most right now. I said,” oh Allah! Please show me signs so that I can understand that you have granted my dua”. Then after finishing, I came to my bed at night and turned on you tube. And believe me, the first video is this and the title literally astonished me. “Don’t feel sad. Allah will help you soon”. I felt that this is a message from Allah. I became astonished the most when I heard in another video that “ people search for miracles from Allah, you’re here and that’s a miracle!” I’m really surprised to see these messages and now I believe everything is a sign. Everything that happened after my prayer is a sign. People who are watching this comment, please pray for my success. I need dua most right now.

خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ،
وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ،
أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ،
أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ
وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِيْ،
فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ،
فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّاأَنْتَ
Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka,
wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa‘dika mastata‘tu,
a‘udhu bika min sharri ma sana‘tu,
abu-u laka bini‘matika ‘alaiyya,
wa abu‘u laka bidhanbi
faghfirli,
fa-innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta
O Allah,
You are my Lord;
There is no Diety except You.
You created me and I am Your servant.
And I abide by Your oath and promise [that I may honour it] to the best of my ability.
I seek refuge with You from every evil I have committed.
I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin,
so forgive me,
for surely there is no one who can forgive sins except You.

You had me until you started talking about “being bad to your parents.” I have tried my whole life to be nice to my parents, and they’ve abused me my entire life. Parents have obligations towards their children and children have rights over their parents. The relationship is supposed to be two way. The Quran does not give permission to parents to abuse their children, and if they do this, the children cannot be expected to fulfill their duty towards them!!!!!!
