Honestly, her voice in the original makes it even clearer how sketchy she is being. Those "hehehhhhh" vibes. So you're not wrong that the dub is kinda lame, but you're also not wrong that she gives sketchy vibes. @likable characters: That's just the limits of only watching the first episode, but you get both that + more personality moving forward, the slave being the first one. Naofumi doesn't have a grand deal of personality tho, he's kinda the introvert. I would say the battle coreography in general is easily 8/10 to 10/10 depending on the fight, they definitely don't stick to RPG rules, it's very satisfactory most of the time.
She 100% gives off "hehehhhhh" vibes from the start I believe the show will have tome to flesh out the characters later, I just wish we could have gotten to know the dude more deeply than "slight otaku tenancies" in the narration. It definitely looks like a show worth watching :3
@@BeelzVsAnime He has a somewhat bland personality, that's for sure. The emotional development and what situations he gets thrown in, and how he overcomes them is the best part there. s2 flops badly on the first arc, directing wise [ie: generic dialogue], but then picks back up. Yeah :3 It's definitely not a cheery ride, but it's a great anime. Speaking of! If you're in for something more dumb/happy, I still greatly recommend Spare me, great lord! I was laughing like an idiot through every episode XD

@@BeelzVsAnime OH YEAH! You'll also like he's basically blind and doesnt care to any "romance" thrown at him, they make some comedy scenes off that XD
