Seriously though, Nate surviving this is about as likely as Declan surviving having his head smashed in by Charity and unconsciously sinking into the water, which he also did. This climax has consisted of one girly fight scene and an explosion that wouldn't knock over a card tower, this really is super soap week (sarcasm)!

Phil Is no different at all yeah he has a nastier temper then Cain but the writers on bother characters make some (most) people believe that they will kill when they don't have It In them and never had the writers don't have It In them to make them killers like Coronation Street did with Tony Gordon and Pat Phelan and Hollyoaks with Warren Fox and Brendan Brady they are the type of alpha males you don't want to be kidnapped by as you are more less likely to be alive by the time they are finished with you
the only thing the writers want you to know about Phil and Cain, is the fact they spend most of their life playing it dodgy and can stand up for themselves when the shit hits the fan. Same as Grant. Honestly when it comes to eastenders though, how many thugs have entered the show to get killed off either by health complications or by someone weaker. I will agree that the soaps need an actual killer with real bravado. Not a cheap piece jobber with a chip too big to carry on his shoulder.
