The first five games were published under Amusement Makers, not ZUN's own Team Shanghai Alice Though I highly doubt they would do anything to stop ZUN if he were to remake the PC-98 games, if anything they'd support his decision

You're forgetting this a remake of another song that already exist right? If JynX's monetizing off of it, then it's technically plagiarism since its again, based on a pre-existing work.
Besides that, JynX themself said that they need permission from the Head Shrine Master(Zun) to actually release everything(both the soundtrack and game) in full. But that would however mean unmonetized as well since All of JynX's works on the TH remakes were unofficial(meaning he did not get permission from Zun to make them beforehand). So even if this were to be taken down to fund JynX's projects, it wouldn't even matter since they'd be denied to monetize off of it since it's not legally permitted by Zun.

Well, I don't hate them. I just don't like the ZUNpets to appear in some moments of some themes because it ruins the moment for me, so I'm not a big fan of them.
after hearing the original on repeat like 50 times, hearing the zunpets on the extended part made me shit myself i think that specific part extending the melody is great, especially compared to how tame the original was and helped with the monotony imo, but the zunpets made it for me

One of my favorite Touhou boss themes of all time and with JynX making this remake it makes me love this theme and Yumemi even more

It's a damn shame ZUN pretty much cast aside the PC-98 Era. Touhou, it WOULD be kickass if he did a 180 on that and remade the PC-98 games.

This Jynx-remixed theme uses the ZUNpet in a great way, it's just that ZUN uses way ZUNpets way too much in some places, so it's devalued.
