I'd say the late early game has rly slow gold gain, but after you start managing a few Heroics on all factions it feels ok again. I do have the surge pack though. I like it when FTP-games have this "starter pack" 1-time pack for those who don't want to spend on micro transactions but feel it is worth a 1-time boost
They need to put video previews when choosing talents like they do when choosing Minis. I chose the Consecrate talent for Tirion over Divine Shield because i thought the AOE would be great dealing with large crowds, but it's so small it's bad. I should've gone for Divine Shield, but now I gotta grind and grind to unlock that sevond talent slot. All because they wouldn't just give me a visual preview of how bad Consecrate's AOE actually is.
I did the same thing with Baron. Got bloodlust instead of frost mages. Was so pissed. And getting 0/10 in that early game is ROUGH. Basically had to restart as Tirion
I agree with almost all points! The only thing I notice is that you don't take into account that it is still in beta and that it is Blizzards (it will be P2W). How many seasons did it take for Clash Royale to become a decent game? Another thing when was the CR fun and varied? For me CR only has two modes today!
I really need a replay function so I can learn some of the tactics and talents my opponents are using in PVP. Sometimes I win a match and don't even know what got through since I was watching on defence.
I want to change talents, and not sit with one I don't want in that deck, was changed / nerfed or seemed better on paper, than it actually is. Just let me buy all the talents, as long as I have the gold, and let me use them. Such a weird design decision.
PvP in this game is disgusting. I’m being lvl 5 playing on silver II, facing not only lvl 8 opponents, but even from higher ranks. Even 1 lvl difference might decide for equal players, but 2-3 lvls difference is usually unwinable, unless opponent is a complete troll. Also a lot of flaws, I don’t know how blizzard is going to release this game in a month, it needs another year of polishing.
Anyone here ever play arcane showdown? It was a MUCH better version of this game. VERY Generous ftp. It sadly closed down due to lack of players though within the first year as it was a small studio. Blizzard backing this is nice but overall having played that, magic mana strike, force arena and minion masters as well (also officially coming to mobile soon). This is just an inferior game sadly. Only been playing for 3 days and I can say this resoundingly. Blizzard should have bought the studio that made arcane showdown and reskinned it to warcraft. It would have been huge!
@@Excoundrel agreed. From a financial perspective it works for them. They're going the Diablo immortal route on a smaller scale. Keep an eye out for minion masters when it releases on mobile. It's on steam atm. IMO its the best of this type of game and it's not even close.
At start of the game i throw more than 1000 gold into those crap book still piss about that, blizzard want you to make mistakes so you have to purchase gold by real money
Are we gonna just ignore that this game is just an obvious copy of what they did a few months/years ago with that hero collector mode they made in hearthstone? They hype it up, got creators to talk and talk, end up being a simple cash grab cause at the end they realize that they can't make games like this when this requires no strategic planning at all, just spend as much as u can and u will make it. Is ridiculous the lack of effort blizzards put on this games and people still eat it just because it got blizzards name behind it. Gotta wake up people, if u are just a player that enjoys this type of games, go for it, but don't complain in a few months or a year that the game as stale as cookies left in a open package for a month. People need to stop believing that this BS will be fix, blizzards only actual projects are WoW and Hearthstone, the rest is just selling hype so people can pay for the next WoW expansion or hearthstone release.
Mercenaries isn't like this at all lmao, mercenaries was so one dimensional and absolute garbage. It's definitely p2w but actually quite an enjoyable pve experience
@Excoundrel how can you say it is an enjoyable pve experience when in your video you even mentioned your lil one doing it despite knowing wth anything does? As I said, if as a person you enjoy this type of game, go for it. But gotta keep it honest, my guy. It is an obvious cash grab. The more money you spend, the better you are. Since when did being a gamer mean we need to spend hundreds of dollars in order to be competitive? Imagine you are good at a game but can't afford to spend hundreds on it, and then end up second to someone that got half of your talent but triple the money to spend? Feel free to prove me wrong then, on global launch, start an new series COMPLETELY F2P not a single dollar spend in the account, show us how far can you get before you get stuck/frustrated or lose interest cause can't/won't be able to progress. Cheers mate!
Also this is a F2P game, if the charged 30 quid for it up front then sure we could complain but ultimately most people won't play for more than 30 minutes per day and they will enjoy it at their own pace. Not everyone will want to grind this shit for hours on end
TLDR: 1. Game is 100% pay to win and pay to progress. 2. You WILL NOT be able to finish the game even in 100 years as a free to play player 3. Game is extremaly easy. There is no tactic or strategy. For example - even 5 years old kid can finish dungeons. How much you pay for upgrades - it is what matter. If you spend enough money you can win any battle blindfolded. If you are free to play you can do shit. 4. Game is very dissapointing and extremaly boring. People already lost an interest in Warcraft Rumble. 85% people who played close beta will not continue to play when game release because it is to boring.
Ignore my awful boy math at the end 70 x 300 is 21k not 210k lmao
They need to make refreshing the grid happen more often. Too many times there’s trash there. Need more big res buttons.

Can survive, just with the Early Arclight Push?
Spot on with all the issues. Especially the gold aspect.

Yeah that's so true i did the same with dark iron mines on the miner

You could Mabye reroll army slots for arclight 😁
Great idea
Also they need to fix the talent for Core Hounds "eternal bond"

Very fair points!!
I really need a replay function so I can learn some of the tactics and talents my opponents are using in PVP. Sometimes I win a match and don't even know what got through since I was watching on defence.
Raids and future guild content could help gold generation. Will see!
Great points, man. Im suprirsed you didnt mention the unbound spam.
I've actually queued into way less of that recently but I've heard they are trying to fix that so didn't include
Knowing blizzard they are working on updates for this game after launch already. game will be good
Really hope so

The hope is that more players = fairer matchmaking I think
The game still needs global so hopefully they fix everything

I remember playing that, very fun, sad it shut down
Agree on a lot of your points but sometimes simplicity is better for the mass market

I find playing Souls by Habby very fun, extremely f2p friendly, but also p2w as well. Great graphics and gameplay.

@giojpr I mean he was doing the super low level dungeons... if they let me skip those then dungeons are quite fun and challenging
Also this is a F2P game, if the charged 30 quid for it up front then sure we could complain but ultimately most people won't play for more than 30 minutes per day and they will enjoy it at their own pace. Not everyone will want to grind this shit for hours on end
F2P friendly my ass lmao, A game where a player cant progress the story is not a f2p game
1st?

That's fair enough, I quite like it though :)
