CW using Yaesu FT-891 - SKCC and WWFF

Straight Key Century Club (SKCC) contact during Straight Key Month (SKM). I did not bring a straight key with me so I had to improvise using the left iambic paddle as a straight key.
Also World Wide Flora and Fauna (WWFF) activation of Brisbane Water National Park (VKFF-0056) located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. CW at 20 WPM.
Portable station consists of Yaesu FT-891 transceiver at 30W, FC-50 antenna tuner, 12.8V 12Ah LiFePO battery, 22m long end-fed random wire antenna as inverted-v supported on 9m telescopic mast.
Activation on Sunday 7 January 2024. Operating on 40 m (7.034 MHz and 7.032 MHz), 17 m (18.084 MHz) and 15 m (21.044 MHz).

I'm in Michigan, USA, no such things here. And if we did have them, not now; I woke Tues to about an inch of snow. Any reptiles are toasty warm in some burrow somewhere!

@stahpit1971 I was sitting beneath a large gum tree and the biggest danger is falling branches. They are often referred to as widow-makers for that reason, 73
