SPEARFISHING CRACKER FROM A KAYAK - FIRST TIME KAYAK SPEARFISHING

First time ever spearfishing of a kayak and what a blast. Evan got a beautiful 8kg mussel cracker a I missed a smaller one.
It was a very late call to go spearfishing and I decided to take the kayaks out for the first time after the epic fail with the inflatable boat.
The target species was mussel cracker. After a very bad launch from Evan we proceeded and managed to land one decent fish.
The exit was also a bit shaky but we managed to get both kayaks out.

I have been taught that its always best to try hunt with the sun behind you, it helps with glare and puts the fish at a disadvantage.

Nice vid. Kayaking give you more energy saving comparing to swim with carbon fins. I am thinking to go island 3 km away from beache normally i am swimming but kayak can be helpful for energy saving?

Yes and it gives you a place to put you fish on and you can put some water and snacks if you get tired or hungry
