- In this video, we purchase a salvage flooded Seadoo GTX 230 Jet ski from copart. We just had a massive freeze in Louisiana and the jet ski was not properly winterized along with being flooded. we are not sure if it is more damaged now but we do a full walkaround and give it a quick inspection.

Very nice Jet ski and I can't wait to see see you guys get her fixed up and running!🤠👍🏻🍻
I will like to send you a space heater for your shop
Watching this series! Very cool buy!
I am looking forward to this new project, I was in copart in baton rouge on Thursday and picked up a 2014 ford taurus to fix up. Keep up the good work.
Good luck with your project. We missed you by a day. We was there Wednesday.
Lol. 17 degrees? Lol. We've been down to -18 already. That's why my channel doesn't have any auto work going on lately. Too dang cold to get out there. Your fingers get so numb that you don't feel the damage you do to them until they warm up then it's seriously painful.
Same here in Minnesota this past week. back in the 30s this week thankfully.
Here in Northwest Ohio last weekend, we had winds up to 55, down below zero at night, with one day having a high of zero. I feel sorry for these guys, as this is something very rare for them
@@dancline2143 I hear ya on that being rare for them. I just moved from Vegas to a northern area that is 16,000 ft ASL. So it gets really cold here with a lot of snow. I grew up in this stuff so I'm good with it but my kids and wife never experienced this kind of weather. Last week I lost one of my vehicles because my wife hit black ice and rolled the truck on the interstate.
Was she alright?
I am not a huge fan of Jet Skis but I guess I can see the appeal of owning one, it's a lot of fun and one can be highly addicted to the adrenaline these things produce, I really hope you guys can figure it out and get it ready for summer. Good luck on this new learning experience.
Thank you so much! Hopefully I enjoy it as much as I always say I would.
I've never seen a jetski up close, this is very interesting!
Same! This is my first time and it's so cool!
I like your new video editing, and great idea with the jet ski 👍🏻
Thank you!
Hopefully your water was only froze up outside. Here in the midwest, we are used to letting our water drip when its bitterly cold, to help keep it from freezing up. It would kill me if I couldn't take a shower lol
Hello Tyler and hi to your dad , its been a great journey to follow you on each video. How are u enjoying been now officially a licienced driver. Safe driving thou.
I am loving having my license! Much more freedom
Great intro!!
GTX originally stood for "Grand Turisto Experimental". Which meant it was to be a Very nice, comfortable Touring vehicle, and the X meant it was an Experimental vehicle. Now adays it had devolved to mean sporty. It's sad to see how people make arbitrary changes because of the lack of understanding. Love you guys! Keep up the good videos! Peace.
Appreciate that back history. I love learning those kinds of things.
justa helpful tip...its a pwc{personnel watercraft}. jetski is brand name owned by kawasaki.
Very true but the phrase jet ski is synonymous for personal water craft. Just like you say Kleenex instead of facial tissue.
Heck yeah! This should be a good series - That key is indeed a safety kill switch that stops the engine if you fall off (also coded to the craft for starting) Not a huge expert on them, other than they're fun. Got up to almost 70 on my buddies last summer.
Thanks for the info! We are definitely excited for the summer
I'm excited for this build. Also if it's been sitting outside at copart I don't think they have winterized it
The parts that was confused for the speakers are actually for the cup and rod holders.
Oh ok. Appreciate the info
