This is probably my favorite cattle moving video. I grew up in a small farm, youngest of 4 girls. Seeing Clementine do this work warms my heart. Strawberry and Annie did a great job as well!
This is the American spirit at it's finest. Leadership, independence & teamwork.
In other words, it’s gone. Nobody wants to do this and that’s why most people live in cities. It’s a shame.

When I was young we had over 5000 head and three German Shepards that did most of the work. They were great dogs and to boot, they were able to go most of the day without water. In the winter we would send them out to round up the heifers and they would do it by themselves. Sure miss my childhood.

In a world of the so called feminist movement and the"Me too" women this young girl and her dog show what a real young woman looks like. This is strength personified. Must have great parents and living on the land are good teachers. Just the way I grew up.

When i was a kid the neighbors cattle would get out. It was around 40-50 head. So 12 year old me would herd them back the mile and a half on foot. No horse...no dog....not a real note-worthy accomplishment either. You just get 3 of 4 of them moving in the right direction and they all will follow. And no these weren't tame...just you average wild ass feeder steers from Montana.
