Favourite song in the entire game; after such a hard and gruelling adventure and under constant and immense pressure to get an A rank this makes you feel so accomplished. Literally, it feels like the end of the line. Shame it only lasts for a few minutes.
I doubt there will be an ending to this series. That said, I do think Steve should be revived in a future game. He will have the same superpowers Wesker had, but will be a hero instead of a villain.
All we know is that Wesker and the company he worked with at the time, had Steve (confirmed in Darkside possible Alternative Universe) and my guess is that the "Wesker" we faced in RE5 is a proxy, a person remade into Wesker like Carla was made into Ada in RE6. If Capcom were smart they would use such a explanation to show that Wesker is alive. (Then again if they had thoughts of killing him off in RE5 chances are he isn't coming back)
I do remember the producer saying that Wesker was killed for real in RE5. It was necessary but also a shame because he was the biggest antagonist of the whole series. Now it's like ''where do we go from here??'' Having Alex Wesker as the villain obviously didn't work out, and nobody really cares for any of the new villains that have come along.
Imagine if this theme played during the lead-up to the self destruct sequence, kinda like how it does in this game, but once the sequence is activated and the place starts falling apart, it switches to an even more incredible, faster-paced remix of it just as the countdown appears on screen, and that continues throughout the duration of the escape? Of course, we should be playing as Chris for that part, too.
Lido's Gaming Den there was an awesome RE5 mod where you have to fight endless executioners to this theme. I think it would be great if there was a final arena where whilst waiting for a helicopter you had to fight off numerous bosses whilst this song played.

I remember passing the game 2 years ago i love this theme listsining to it while Chris with claire trying to escape it took me a short while to figure out that the code is code veronica it felt so satisfying to pass the game with a A rank And unlocking the roket launcher along with mercenaries mode which is plus u get to play as albert wesker And even on first person view which is nice
*Type the password "Veronica"* I love that the title of the game is foreshadowing the final part of the game. As simple as it seems, but inputing that password is the most memorable moment of CV for me.

Unless you neglect to do some key puzzles before finding Claire; then you got quite a while with this.
This lasted for a long epic time for me, because I went for Claire first, then had to solve and hour or two worth of puzzles
in this part of the game, we realize that it comes the end. so sad, great memories
Always remember being like 13 and saying "wait whats the code? Did i miss it?", even though the case of the game was staring straight at me

If CAPCOM make a Remake, I hope this song is in the game, it's damn awesome! We have to make noise for that.
Also, have Mutant Steve as a pursuer enemy like Mr. X or Lady D. Change the plot up a little, but still have the general consensus intact.
