- Mean Mary playing violin (fiddle) with her brother, Frank James, on the Gretch guitar. The song is an old blues/folk tune called St James Infirmary. Louis Armstrong does a great version of this song - check it out sometime!
Man… I went to TH-cam for how to play it and instead I got a masterclass in how to REALLY play it. Absolutely gorgeous!!!!

I wish my Momma could have seen you before passing in 2013 but I wasn't aware of you then. She would have loved you dearly. My Grandma played the fiddle everyday on the front porch thru The Great Depression.
