I love these videos because they´re great to read along to, I usually struggle focusing if I read in silence and sometimes rain/nature noises don´t do it so these are perfect to read to but also get to see what someone else is reading/putting on their tbr in the middle of it. They´re definetely my comfort vids .

Jodie I could relate with you when you say you hate the hot weather. I live in Montreal, Québec, Canada and let me tell you its been scorching hot here I honestly hate summer! I love fall and winter. I find that simmer makes me angry because your sweating to death.

Seoulmates sounds so great. I had a little bit of a Korean book binge recently and read The Noh Family, Once Upon a K-Prom and I Guess I Live Here Now so I will definitely be picking Seoulmates up. I read XOXO at the start of the year and gave it 5 stars.

Jodie I am so jealous of that Dracula snow globe. I actually just finished Dracula The Un-Dead which is the sequel to the classic by Bram Stoker. It’s written by Dacre Stoker and Ian Holt and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! I read it in one day and I loved it

I am not much of a horror reader but I would recommend that you check out The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman, it's probably somewhere around 150 pages, and is definitely horror with paranormal/fantasy vibes as well. One of my favourite books and I think you'd like it!
I didn't read any of the mortal instruments series but read and loved the infernal devices!! definitely don't want to go back and read any of the mortal instruments now ahaha

🍂🍁🦇🎃 That really sucks that you're not enjoying The Mortal Instruments series. I've noticed that normally the books you like I like and the books you don't like I don't like. However, I love The Mortal Instruments series. I recently bought the Litjoy Special edition that was released and I'm having a custom fine jewelry necklace of the Angelic Rune made. I'm also planning to take off work on January 31 to read Chain of Thorns. I'm totally ready for Autumn. I already started planning my TBRs for Sept. - Nov. and I have a huge pile of books I want to read in October 😅

Eric Larocca's horror novellas are great! I feel like you're going to hate Nothing But Blackened Teeth haha also can't remember if you've read A Dowry of Blood yet but of course I recommend that one lmao I feel like I've commented this before... déja vu 😂

if you are looking for a good horror story, i recommend the manga series "blood on the tracks" (i think that's the official eng title?) by oshimi shuzou! it's so so good and will haunt your mind ^^;
Escaping from Houdini wasn't my favourite either..... but I guess it does show and reveals true to the character's age.... Audrey Rose, we keep forgetting, is still very young.... and I think this plot was a way of making us aware of her actual age....
I think it reminded us of the stupid and inconsistent decisions she was also capable of at her age.
But don't forget to also read the novella Becoming The Dark Prince - which explains a few things from Escaping from Houdini and then gives you a bridge to Capturing The Devil.

You could always DNF books you didn’t like.
The fourth book of Shadowhunters series is the WORST book I have ever read. It’s a pointless filler book. Try the Bane Chronicles if you like Magnus that’s pretty good
um you NEED to read the bloody chamber by angels carter… it’s only the mother of all short horror 🥲
