Love these videos…. As an owner of a certified aircraft your videos still give much insight into the hows and whys of avionics installations.
That panel looks amazing. Who did the leather work? Looks very high end. I'm working on an RV-10 and would like something as polished as that.
The glareshield is stock from the kit manufacturer.
What logic does Garmin use to switch between the ground and the flight fuel map? Airspeed? Attitude?
A combination of GPS Ground Speed and Height AGL, as well as airspeed. I.e. if you perform a stall it knows you aren't on the ground because of your GPS height so it won't switch to the ground map.
