      The narrator is an obscure actor : David Suchet ? Not sure what he's actually done in his career ?His French accent is fairly awful .
      His Russian accent is even worse .!

      Presumably a reference to the Germanic realms- either Germany ,or Austria Hungary although both had ceased to be "Empires" in 1918.

    This isn’t the Agatha Christie short story The Capture of Cerberus from her book The Labours of Hercules. What rewriting is this?

    • @Greatstoriesyoulllove
      @Greatstoriesyoulllove  ปีที่แล้ว +13

      This was the rediscovered original version which was found in 2004 when 73 of her notebooks were unearthed at her family home. She rewrote it for the version you know. Hope this clarifies things Mick.

    No l,can’t get to grips with Suchet reading his own character! He isn’t half as good as Hugh Fraser who excels as Poirot AND with all the other characters. 🥱

      Well Fraser narrates his own character - Hastings - and Suchet IS Poirot so not sure how narrating a book differs from speaking the lines in a movie/TV series
