- Bali, Indonesia is among the most beautiful places in the world. In this video, you'll see Seminyak, where we stayed, and also a day trip to Tanah Lot (Bali temple) and Canggu. Seminyak is a lovely area, full of bars, cafes, and shops. The beach is famous for the surfing classes (actually the whole area from Seminyak to Kuta), and perfect to enjoy the sunset. A lazy day at the beach here should be among your top things to do in Bali 😉.
Seminyak is not far from Denpasar and the Bali airport. At the airport, by the way, there's a dedicated area for ride-sharing, which is always appreciated. And the best about Seminyak is that you're relatively close to other nice areas, like Canggu, Kuta, and Legian. And Tanah Lot, one of the most famous temples in Bali, is located northwest of Canggu. So it makes sense to combine both locations on the same day if you're not staying in Canggu.

Short answer: I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. Saya punya teman dari Polandia, dia sudah keliling banyak tempat, dia mengatakan lebih banyak tempat di daerah lain masih lebih alami dan tak terjamah, lebih sunyi , tapi dia bilang selalu ingin kembali ke Bali, kenapa? Karena dia merasa di Bali dia merasa lebih aman untuk bepergian meski sampai pagi tanpa rasa takut, humble peoples, dan tempat wisata satu dan lainnya tidak terlalu berjauhan, laut dan pegunungan tidak terlalu berjauhan, paling jauh dari pantai ke tempat yang lebih sejuk yaitu pegunungan tidak lebih dari 4 jam perjalanan, one package holliday, liburan 3 hari saja dia bilang sudah bisa berkeliling Bali dengan puas, tapi dia mengatakan yang paling utama yang dia rasakan adalah rasa aman dan tidak was was di Bali, mungkin itu salah satu syarat destinasi Wisata yang baik ya, jadi gak salah kalau Bali ramai tourist, nice 👍

Hai renata, A lot of new tourist come to indonesia just now java and bali for vacation but if you have more time in indonesia You must visit raja ampat in papua province thats place is real deal nature paradise, lake toba (biggest lake in south east asia with big island in the midle of the lake) its in north sumatera province, kalimantan island(have biggest rain forest in indonesia), etc.

you can visit sister of bali , the lombok island there are lot of things that you can do there ..
there are lot of beautyful beaches , waterfalls , mountain and many more ..
Or maybe in komodo island in the east of indonesia the place where you can enjoy under sea , and the only place to see komodo dragon in the world ..
And actually there are lot of hidden paradise to discover in indonesia ..even 1 year is not enough to travell around indonesia 😊

I spend 2 semester of my college in Indonesia, just travelling around teaching in schools haha
I would like to suggest for you to check out eastern islands of Indonesia, places in Sulawesi like Makassar, Toraja, Manado, Wakatobi, also the small Islands like Flores, Sumba, Sumbawa, and Timor. You definitely should go there because it's vastly different than Java and Bali.

Hi Renata, You are really nice lady inside out, soft spoken and pointed out unnecessary expenses to enter the temples, good selection of local foods, even you mentioned the prices for different areas. Your man must be very happy to accompany you during your stay in such beautiful island. You should continue to the next island, Lombok and Gili Trawangan island in which motorized vehicles are not allowed. You should have dinner by the beach for sea foods restaurant at Seminyak.
