If you are curious as to what the overlaying beat was in the pre-chorus, it was from a Korean instrument called the 가야금 Gayageum which is a traditional Korean musical instrument that has existed for over 2000 years now. I was actually so upset that the came third place in the end of Kingdom, they were going so strong but they had to make the final episode fan votes and disregard all previous votes. Ugh as an Atiny we know that Ateez is more popular overseas that in Korea, which is sad but true, and when I tried to vote for them during the final episode I couldn't even login to any of my accounts so I was beyond angry that I couldn't even vote for them once. Why did they have to make it a live voting, essentally a popularity contest and that's just not fair because they weren't being judged by their talent but how big their fandom is, same with their Answer performance, it was so meaningful to us Atinys and paid homage to their lore, but they came last place because they weren't "flashy". They deserved so much better.
