No matter what i change, i just always think the game looks so aweful. Compared to wow for example it feels way better visually. I don’t know why but yeah
The Reason for the Stutter is the bad Balance on the CPU Cores. A Example: You use Medium Settings and u get 180FPS your CPU has also more work to do and because of the bad balance, your cpu (only when 1 hits a high %) the core is going into boost mode or on the maximum level. When this happens your FPS will drop down or u get stutter. ( When moving into a Town for example ) When u use High instead of Medium the GPU is working on a higher lvl the CPU Workload is getting a bit more flat or a little more evenly distributed, this lowers a bit the stutter. I helped about 30 ppls in my Guild in the past 5 Years of playing BDO. Testet at least 10 different Systems by myself and i can tell you, in BDO u need seriously a good core with a high single core clock speed. Best tests i had in the past was with a 5800X3D and a 7900X3D. The reason is obvious. All u need to do in BDO is get a good CPU with high single core clock speed and yes u dont need more as 6 cores or buy a core with a bigger Cache like the X3D. After that, check your Resolution and buy a good GPU for that Resolution. Trust me in BDO u dont get a high Uplift when buying expensive Hardware. Thx for the Video :)
So then would you suggest keeping the settings on high or slightly high to take load off the CPU? my experience isnt bad with the r7 2700, rx 580 8gb. Though I want to push better visuals for screenshots xD
@@aaron5705 Well with a rx580 u should use 1080p and try to use the crop mode. Configurate it on your needs or let it off if u dont like it. Make sure Energy Mode or Eco mode (cant remember what it calls in english) off in the bdo settings, also dont use like auto fps or crap like that. Dont use Anhanced Sync or stuff like that, also u dont need freesync or any vertical sync On in your Profile for the Game in the AMD Drivers. I have absolut everything off and with this settings u can uncap your fps in full screen. Best driver for BDO was 22.5.2 but its just recommendet for BDO. New Games can have issues with this driver, so it's your decision. When your GPU is not on load u have more stutters, for example u play in Optimal or something, but it depends also on your cpu. I think with a rx580 the gpu will always be on a higher load. If u still have stutters try the full mode to uncap your fps and get higher fps=more load or use a higher quality. Hard to explain this stuff in this Chat here ^^
@@blidibliblubla Hello, do you have discord? I just recently upgraded to 5800x3d and I'm interested to see what you've done with it to improve performance.
Beautiful video, thank you! I messed around and changed settings for War and man the game looked like shit and ran like shit. This has been a big help, thank you!
Im on Playstation 4 and i was trying to find out how to bring my screen in more because things are being shown a little off screen. I brought it out to far when i 1st logged on to the game for the 1st time 2 days ago, now i dont know how to fix it
I really like the game and dont even have fps problems. Is there anyway to stop the insane texture pop ins? Sadly whoever I asked said its part of the game and cant be changed. I like the game but these random textures appearing from thin air gives me eye cancer abd i will uninstall if there is no way to atleast make it less noticable.
My old pc ran this at 140ish fps i havent played in years but downloaded it yesterday on my new pc remastered setting but is it locked at 60fps i could not get it over 60 at all not even 61
That’s why I moved to PC, I’m not gonna keep dumbing money on console if we’re being left behind by years. Time to upgrade and continue the journey on pc
Cropping the screen is actually clutch. This is a great video for a jumping off point to get into personalized UI settings.
happy it helped!
big help! didnt think doing all this and jumping from medium quality to high would yield me an extra 30-40 frames this is insane!
Right when I just started playing. Great timing! hehehe
Super helpful as a newer player!
I especially appreciate the crop suggestion; it looks nice and wouldn't have occurred to me to try.

So does turning character optimization help in PVP or not?
Hello, can I adjust the vertical alignment? So that the character is not in the center of the screen but kind of lower so that I see above his head.
