I just completed this process with your help. No more ringing glas and all cleaned up. Nice and shiny. Thanks.

Great video with very clear steps. Would this be the same for a W111 with a wood cluster?? Thanks

I do have a video for removing the W111 cluster and testing/replacing various components:

Don't forget the nylon retaining nut on a 108 anf 109. AN awkward reach!

You're correct! I recently uploaded a video in which I remove the cluster on a W108. Here's the link: th-cam.com/video/ycrZExvzWdo/w-d-xo.html

Hello Michael. Thank you for your great Videos! I have a question. How can I remove the cable for the temperature indication from my w 114 coupe 1974? Is the cable long enough to just put out the instrument unit? thank you in advance Oliver

There are two ways. One is to disconnect it at the cylinder head. I have a video of this process on a W108 (link below). The other method is to remove the back of the cluster and leave it in the cavity. th-cam.com/video/ycrZExvzWdo/w-d-xo.html
