I wish as the world turns and guiding light were both still on T.V. ,I miss them both! Plus who wants to watch the talk! We already had the view and I can't stand either on of these talk shows.

Baby is like what's happening when John takes him...then it's like 'oh yeah...I'm supposed to be acting!...facial expressions/smilitng and the way they look at each other..you can tell some of the cast noticed as well..wanting to smile
It's so funny that both Barbara and Lisa are angry with Carly about lying about Parker's parentage. Barbara lied about her own daughter Jennifer and Lisa lied about Scott! lol.
Yes, they forgot - I don't remember the whole details regarding Babs & Lisa's deceit but with Carly's deceit there appears to be 50K @ stake which appears to be Carly's motivation.
Barbara was always a hypocrite like that. Lisa was well into the background by the time I started watching so I can't speak for her.
@@alexisdiva9 actually Carly received 50 million dollars in trust for Parker but only if she was married to the child's father and it couldn't be Mike Kaslov. Roseanna felt guilty for her part in Carly's miscarriage but she didn't want Carly to have Mike's baby.

Michael Park looks really young here. This was very early on with old Rosanna (Yvonne Perry) and one of the many Brad recast (John Loprieno) before they settled on Austin Peck.

It was actually Benjamin Hendrickson who played Hal that committed suicide in 2006, not the Hal character. Yes, he was a great actor; sadly, he had lost his mother unexpectedly & was having difficulty coping with that. IMO what probably drove him over the edge was when the powers that be on ATWT killed off his daughter Jennifer's character. A few months later, they had his Hal character die in the line of duty. RIP, Ben. ;(

@@alexisdiva9 it wasn't just his mother, but his brother who passed away as well. Both had chronic illness so it wasn't entirely surprising but dealing with two deaths back to back is gonna take a toll. There was a period in '04-05 ish where Hal was temporarily recast and when he came back my mom noticed he looked really gaunt.
Having his onscreen daughter die (which honestly was such an odd decision anyway) didn't help with the depression.
Carly was probably the greatest Diane Jenkins of all time

That same writer got fired and was co headwriting the trash in the late 00s.

@@DegrassiInstantStar The quality of the production at this time was under Goutman. Goutman came in with the west coast vision. When AW got cancelled, Goutman came over to ATWT and he hired Laiman to headwrite. Jake and Vicky showed up on ATWT the first week of July I think. If this is Lorraine then Goutman must not have fired her right away. FMB's production was not as lively as Goutman's.

Ten years was generous.
2005 was the last good year it had with Jennifer's baby and the well crafted umbrella story that became that had far reaching effects up till the series finale.
But after that? Woof. The teen scene was great and Luke/Noah was fairly decent for a story written in the 2000s, but everything else was a hot mess.
ATWT's version of Maury Povich...
I had a love/hate relationship with Carly.
Barbara and Lisa at the frontline of her ousting feels like dinner every day with my parents for not turning the heat down at night.
