  • Hello hello....And welcome to part 1 of a 7 part process video series! That many video's!! Yes, because this is the biggest and most filled flipbook I ever made before & really want to share with you how it is made.
    This is a swap with Eva from Bohemian Crafting & we decided on a secretary theme. First I went to the office supply store for some inspiration and I took a dive into my own stash for some great papers!
    I made a lot of different things, like collage elements, closures, pockets, fold outs, envelopes, labels, tags and much more.....
    I used old vintage papers, office forms, some stitching & of course, troughout the whole flipbook, I used Tim Holtz supplies. From papers to mini marquee letters, some stamps, tape, etc....
    Can't wait to see my video's? Press play, Relax & Enjoy! When you appreciate my video's, can je like, subscribe or leave a comment. I would love it. xoxo.

    Marley - you make the process LOOK so easy, simple, etc.
    However, the end result is anything but!
    Looks very complex, well thought out, design is incredible, the colors - the papers you put together go together like they have always been made for each other.
    Insanely impressed!!!!

    Amazing work, Marly! I'm not really familiar with mixed-media artists, so the use of mat medium and gesso and such is fascinating for me. When Eva showed your work, I really loved the scratch notepad with all the torn pages so I'm glad you see you do it on this video.

      @@finetteloulou4824 I can't take the measurements for you anymore, because the flipbook is with Eva now. When I made the cover I just eyeballed the size that I think will work. I did not use a ruler. So sorry I can not help you.

    I'm sorry if you said this already, but when you scored it--how much space did you give for it? did you score the spines a quarter of an inch? (That's what it looks like on screen but I wanted to ask!)

    QUIT WITH THE MUSIC!!!! You don’t need it. Otherwise it’s a beautiful and helpful video.

    • @Marlydesign

      Do you only prefer a voice over? Or also an other type of music?

    • @MsLouisVee
      @MsLouisVee 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello thank you for replying. I love your videos and I love your style but that intro music is really grating on me maybe because it keeps repeating over and over again just when I think it’s done🙁I would love a voiceover or maybe another kind of music but I’d rather hear your voice narrating what you’re doing then hear music sorry I don’t mean to criticize your video. I love your work I’m just telling you what I was thinking that’s all. I will continue to support and love your work❤️ thank you
