This was amazing! All the voices were great and I love the comics with a passion. I’m glad someone is dubbing these. Hopefully this will lead more people to discover it.
It’s a shame no one thought of bringing the original Carl Barks work in his own animation for TV . His animation and stories are so valued and well received by comic critics . Thank you for putting this up ! I love your videos 🌹
I have a theory that Gladstone isn’t actually ashamed he earned that dime but was just messing with them or trying to teach them not to snoop. He knows how much Uncle Scrooge dime means to him, so he probably purposely put that dime in there to mess with them. Either that or he tried to earn that dime but due to his luck got it not genuinely and was lying.
Or maybe it’s because he expected a monthly pay of 20 bucks an hour, but all he got was a dime. Unlike Scrooge, who gets an American Dime as a sign to persevere on being wealthy, or Glomgold who (in the 2017 reboot) was given a dime by Scrooge (when he expected more) ended up taking on a rivalry, Gladstone expected more than a dime for doing work, and completely gave up working. Scrooge did work and persevered, Glomgold did work and gained a rivalry, but Gladstone did work and ragequitted.
@@kenanlemener3861 Glomgold is Scrooge's "evil twin." He is what Scrooge would have been if Scrooge had not possessed a fundamental honesty and decency to (somewhat) modify his greed and insatiable thirst for wealth. Taking the Barks canon as a whole, Scrooge was also a pretty insufferable old man when Donald and the triplets first made contact with him, but apparently having a family did to a certain extent bring out Scrooge's better sides. (It is remarkable how much Barks even draws Scrooge like Glomgold in his early appearances, though the Glomgold character was created much later.) But Glomgold, at least in the Barks canon, is alone. He has no family, no friends, no one to open his eyes to the fact that money is not quite everything.
This is nitpicky as hell but I’ll say it anyways: At 9:24 the voice other than Scrooge was voice acted to sound like a nephew. However the nephews always use “Unca Scrooge” instead of “Uncle”, so it shoulda been Donald instead. Awesome work still though, greatly enjoyed it :)
Of course we all thought the ducks talked normally. We did not see the Disney cartoons till we were older. Barks had them talking normal, or he would have lettered the balloon in a dialect. Nice to see the comics, but voices are a waste of time. I can’t even watch this .
@@robbieq7814 Gladstone Gander of course. he will be lucky enough to win a house in a lottery or 100 other ways you could randomly get the ownership of a house. So he never has to pay rent.

I see you’re going by the logic of Clarence Nash and Tony Anselmo voicing both Donald and his Nephews, rather than Russo Taylor voicing the Nephews.
@@robbiewalker2831 I am. I can't find anyone to voice them like her. I prefer her voice.
I think every character sounds like the characters in the original Ducktales (especially Scrooge and Gladstone)
The children sound like the raspy short film cartoons, not like clear-voiced Hewey, Dewey, and Louie.

Gotta say, I don’t think there’s such a hatable character as Gladstone Gander.
😂😂😂
Daisy for me lol.
Even Carl Barks who created him hated Gladstone Gander and preferred not to discuss him.
@@Cenindo fun fact: he also hated Flintheart Glomgold

So the bears are in prison but Donald can break into a safe and nothing happens. Donald is a psychopath hahaha
Love the vibes of the classic Donald Shorts and Ducktales

Thanks for the feedback!
I don't think it's that big a story changer.
Plot Twist: SPOILERS BELOW
The dime was Scrooge’s first dime.
Perfect voices
One of my favorite stories. Good job ( although reading Barks, Strobl etc. I must confess I imagine Donald talking 'normally' )
Yea me too 😭 But on the other hand hearing him with a normal voice would be cursed

Hey, thanks a lot!! Grateful to have some great voice actors to help out!!

Is that a real song Gladstone sings?
Not that I’m aware of. The Voice Actor improvised it.
Can you upload a dub version of the comic where Magica d first appears
I'll have to do some searching and hopefully find someone who can pull off her voice. Don't hold your breath.
Awesome
So Gladstone luck can control people
Wouldn't be a bad super power, eh?
@@TheDonaldDuckProject ya
I don't think it's controlling, more like just happening to be in the right place at the right time, all the time.
Wow
