Well now...this coverage of the Najdorf is truly amazing, so, very well done Sir! I'm 76 years of age, so it went a fair bit FAST for me!!! however, I used the pause button heaps...and it took me a long time to get through it all. I also need to have time to write all these variations down on paper to be able to go through them at a later date! Terrific stuff, so many thanks!
Good luck with remembering all those lines. Even grandmasters, who are honest, admit that this is a problem. Cause they slip in and out of memory. The true meaning of teaching chess, is to analyse why the next move is the best.
@5:32 and it was in this position I see what the early twentieth century players like Capablanca said with the Sicilian black's game is full of holes. Didn't stop him playing it, but that attack looks like a frustration to deal with.
Seriously, no joke. If you have trouble following Anish through all the lines because you are learning, I will tell you a quick and easy way to catch up: Do 200k tactical puzzles. Don't think, spend ten seconds on each puzzle, 200k. Slowly the whole board and all of it's pieces come into view.
Bro thats what his course is for. Do you really think he has the time to do a 3 hour video. And even if there are no explanations in the course, all of the moves follow up in a logical, understandable pattern and are not that hard to understand. An amateur should not watch a video of a GM explaining his ideas if you dont have any knowledge of that opening before watching a 45 minute video. You should watch some vids to get the basics first before looking at long lines
@@tominy. you are wrong. First, if he does not have the time to make good quality and useful videos it is best not to make. Second, anyone can turn on chessbase opening database and read through every move and line without explaining them and then bluffing that the vidoe is meant even for super GMs and not for anyone below 2700 elo. To learn how to teach the opening to any level player I just he watches Roman Dzindzichashvili’s videos or that of Andrew Matin’s or Daniel King. Of course, these masters all know how to teach chess because they are certified coaches and therefore know the skill and art of teaching.

Everyone loves the nadorf, but it’s so weird to me as someone who plays the Sveshnikov… I keep getting worse positions playing seemingly reasonable moves, so maybe it’s just not my play style even though it sometimes transposes. hopefully this helps, I love all Sicilians regardless. I think I just play poorly with shevveningan (forgive spelling) and hedgehog like structures
How about sicilian najdorf magnus variation where you report your opponent after you lose Or sicilian najdorf hans variation where you can use stockfish 15.....
In giving the variations he is great. His explanations are awful however. He simply goes - this is the main line, this is a sideline, this is good, this is bad. He is not remotely explaining any ideas.
