We bought the shoes for my 10-year-old who plays competitive basketball and he really loves the feel and traction of this shoe. This review is right on as far as the architecture of the shoe goes. This thing has wicked grip on the court! However, the insole began to wear through within a couple of months and he has holes in the center of the heal area. Also, the stretchy fabric around the ankle started to tear apart quickly. 3 months old and I'm looking for a replacement already!! This is a very comfortable shoe for casual use, but serious ballers beware! In 2017 it shouldn't be hard to make a durable basketball shoe!
A new colorway just came out and it looks really cool ! I orderde them tight away. Yhis will be my first pair of adidas after I've been balling for 20 years in nikes.
+Ng Jia Jie the design itself could work for outdoors, the reactions excellent, but the rubber compound they used on the outsole on this particular Colorway is really soft and may not hold up
im not sure what to get should i get crazylight boost 2016 or kd9 or kobi allstars respond to me your opinions plz or if theres a better shoe under 200 dollars tell me
Please don't go true to size. Heel slippage is a problem. Go half sz down if you're going to hoop in them or play sports in general. I could see these being great on the tennis court. If your just casual then yes true to size is good. I own four pairs two at 12.5 and two at 12.0. I'm talking major experience with the shoe. Traction is adequate but the crazy explosives and d rose 7 are a cut above traction wise.
I tried going down half a size, but I still had heel lift and they felt too snug, as my toes were touching the very front of the shoe. I think the design of the shoe lends itself to that heel lift. It did help to not lace through the plastic piece of the top hole and just lace through the jacquard material instead.
co-sign these are shoes you def want to try on and not strictly go by the reviews...tried them on TTS @sz 12 was surprised how snug and unbreathable right on the edge they where on the toe box..went a half size up felt fine around the toe box but still fairly snug around the sides , dude assisting told me i should give it sometime to break in but been there done that just not worth it..and going a full size just looks clownish and the prone to slippage..what a shame cause i really loved the USA cw....
A lot of shoes are made in China. That itself is not a determining factor. What might be is they come out of the box with some weird factory smell instead of that typical "new shoe" smell.

Nice video bro, you deserve more views!
+Justin GAMING thanks man!
On my KD8 EXT's the gold tongue started to wear after about 3 wears casually. Not a big deal but I think you could repaint them.
That out-sole!
According to Adidas website, the outsole is also continental but without the marking . I believe so.
Interms of playing basketball, do you prefer the adidas crazy explosive primeknit or the KD 9?
So many people hate this colorway, idk why
it's the 2nd best colorway
hey, are the stripes on the back easy to chip, fade? what material is that, plastic or rubber? and does the shoes longer than normal?
Is this more comfortable than ultra boost for intense workouts?
+ByMeCp depends on the type of work out, the boost isn't as soft as the ultra boost
Ok thanks for knowledge! Appreciate it!
The logo in the back is siiiiick! It freaking shines dude! I like it!
Love the video man!
+cristan recede thanks man!
These are super dope. Nice pickup!
Great review. Just bought a pair to be shipped to Taiwan since we don't get this color way here. Thanks and keep up the good work.
+Philip Huang awesome! Thanks man!
Do you prefer the crazylight boost 2016 or d rose 6?
i just saw this kicks, is it still available in the market?
Damn those are dope shoes! I've a question though, is this design good for outdoors or is it just for indoors?

+ImThe Baws honestly any of the adidas basketball models rn are excellent, the KD 9 is great too, I'd go with whichever you like the best
ok thank you for responding
hey does the 3 stripes on the back erase over time

Everyone's foot is different. I tried these half a size down and they were too tight, went true to size and they're perfect.
