    First time watcher here. I came across your video at random and I was happy that it caught my attention and watched it till the finish. I still find it hard to even imagine doing one of these long haul flights. Living in the US, most of my travel is in country and tops out at 5 hours. I think I would need to indulge in a gin with a splash of tonic to help. The cabin did look very comfortable. I appreciate you sharing your trip with us and you have earned me hitting the "subscribe" button and the notification bell.... Safe travels and are looking forward to your other videos. Best....

    Having twice flown PE with BA on their LHR-SCL-LHR route, both times pre-Covid (the last time being just as Covid was itself arriving in the UK), thanks for this review. Thanks also for reminding me on certain specific points. Any flight this long is always a test of personal endurance, Club class possibly excepted, but as I am again flying to SCL with BA PE later this week the refresher is appreciated.

    TYVM! And your fans do appreciate that you occasionally try to stay in touch with hoi polloi by flying commercial. :-) This was helpful in the sense of being informative and in the sense of me looking for any rationale at all to avoid main cabin on long flights.
    P.S. good on them for the crockery. Several years ago you had an [IRRC] NCL review where they served on plastic, I think it was near a pool. Anyway, they got an indignant reprimand.

    My partner is ex BA staff and we fly a lot - often Club World if available! Flew back from New Orleans World Traveller Plus and generally found the seat, food etc pretty good so would be happy with WTP again. The only downside was the grumpy and rude cabin crew who served us. She clearly didn’t want to be there and did the absolute minimum they could get away with doing but that was clearly one individual, not the overall standard.

    We've booked BA premium economy for our flight to Bridgetown which is 9 hrs out and 8 hrs back as it wasn't much more than economy. Thanks for the video, the space is really what were paying for, I've yet to be impressed with BA, despite flying with them numerous times. Their business class leaves a lot to be desired in my humble opinion.

    • @angelahorton5745

      @Dr Weirdgloves
      Flight 1- The strange layout meant I traveled backwards facing my husband diagonally and had to step over a sleeping person to use the bathroom.
      Flight 2 - luggage lost and never recovered + poor attitude.
      Flight 3 - bumped off our flight home from Buenos Aires. Offered premium economy with refund or indirect flight with Iberian Airways who were far superior and the ground staff said BA constantly bump people off.
      Flight 4 - food run out leaving no menu choice.
      First world problems I know but I've found KLM, Air France, Emirates & Iberian Airways business class far superior in comfort, food & customer service. Perhaps I've just been unlucky.

      Thanks for watching. FYI It’s commonly known as a panini in the UK. 🙂

      @@fredh.8332 Never heard of Panino in the US. Panini is just more common in the US despite it being the plural form.

    "...landfill ready compostable plastic bag," "...too much throw away plastic, British Airways..." And then the comments on the cutlery near the end. Come on, quit with the tree hugger crap. Surprised you didn't say anything about the 787 carbon footprint and suggest the crew plant a tree on arrival into SCL and back into LHR. 🙄
    And Helen should have held onto her tray.
