We keep our boat at Watergate. I like to watch you guys to learn for our future adventures. When I get a motor for our dinghy, we'll motor over to South Shore and come meet you.

Great video! We were fishing Offatts Bayou Saturday and caught 17 trout. I noticed the railroad bridge was closed more than usual. That area of ICW just past Harbor walk gets sketchy, it has changed so much that even my Texas One navigation chart misses it. Definitely don’t want to pass a barge there where you have to get over.

@ we live in Spring Tx and our boat is a custom 16ft Key Largo, if we can ever get our dog kennel sold we are gonna upgrade. Our dream is to have a boat like y’all’s and your channel inspires us to keep the hope.
Love watching your trips, they are Inspirational! I have a couple of questions for Capt. Shawn.. "What was you avg speed, and fuel consumption? " Also, why the ICW vs. hugging the coast to Freeport?
@billyanderson6549 Thank you for the comment. Between 9 - 10 knots was the average speed and just over 1 MPG. Today we left Freeport and drove 50 miles at 1.3 MPG to Matagorda. No particular reason why we stayed in ICW. Maybe on the way back we will if there is a good weather day for it. About 3-4 miles off shore is where I stay.
The wife and I love y'alls videos. Y'all seem like really nice people. Bit I have a complaint. Lol you can't listen to Christmas music . Until after Thanksgiving. Lol just picking . Hope y'all have a great trip.

I believe the area your were questioning is Harborwalk. Harborwalk is west of Tiki Island on the north side of the ICW.
