I love how you make home cooked things look so professionally made as if it was made by a chef or baker! And at the same time your recipes are easy to follow and not hard at all to execute properly ❤
Very nice cake recipie Ella! They looks amazing! Can we make the in cake form 18 cm? How many time i bake them? Have a nice day and good weekend! Have a good week! 👍👏🍫🍫🍫
Hey! So, I had a 28cm springform pan, not a 20cm. 28/20 = 1.4, so I've multiple the ingredients roughly by 1.4, instead of using 3 eggs, I've used 4, so on so forth, with some approximations (e.g. I had 10g packages of gelatin, so instead of 8*1.4, I used 20g, I think this helped solidify the cake). It came out really well! Just like in the video, however, I think I went overboard with the chocolate glazing haha. I bought a 1L milk carton for this recipe and I have 200ml left in it and I thought I wouldn't let it go to waste, it'll thicken with the butter and extra chocolate, right...? Nope, I had to put waaay more than 180g of chocolate bars (I know the recipe used semi-sweet, but I used what I had on hand, meaning like 5bars of chocolate, 200ml of whipped cream and ~230ml of milk, and ~130g of butter....). It came out way too liquid, so I put ~30g of cornstarch and stirred it over a bain marie makeshift. In the end, the glaze thickened just how I liked it, so I got the cake out (which set nicely!) and I poured, let it cool in direct AC air, waited a little, poured again and I've salvaged the rest that fell for later frappe :). What else I'd recommend if you have a 28cm pan instead of 20, just double the quantities for the *batter only*, not 1.4x, my cake came out thinner than the recipe, but I'm not complaining too much, maybe it would've helped balance out the sweetness a bit more. I've also baked the cake in one go, one pan, instead of 2, then cut it. I think it took just a little while longer to cook, maybe 20min total? Nevertheless, tare buna reteta, Ella,mi-a placut maxim!! easy to follow and to make, I had some worries about it fitting my pan, so I trusted the process and it came out amazing, my first ever cake! I've uploaded some pics here for anyone curious how it came out: imgur.com/a/hIbsFiY
also forgot to add, from when I left the vanilla pudding aside to cool to when I added the gelatin, some time has passed, idk how much, not a lot, since I was working the other steps of the cake, and the pudding set in that time! It wasn't a cream anymore, more like a jelly, and what I did was add the gelatin and then working it with a whisk over a bain-marie to smoothen out, then with a mixer so it's completely smooth :).

How do you move the coke from the bottom part of the tray? It seems a sensitive cake. Mulțumesc 😊
Can we make this cake without the gelatine? I feel that perhaps the whisked egg whites and cream will be able to stand without collapsing?
Perfect
