I always like the instrumental and orchestral versions. Apparently Floor is part of the choir also, this explains the controversy which has grown about the sound quality of the full version.

I did it but it wasn't good. Better to wait for the official version, the quality will be much better. I hope they also release the official instrumental

The chorus sounds almost the same.., even without the main vocals. Just played the original version on my stereo and the sound is such a mess overall. Really compact and artificial… It’s not just Floor being on the background
You should maybe go see a otorhinolaryngologist. But anyway it is intend to be so, if you don't like, well you don't but it doesn't mean it is a mistake.

As an audiophile for the past at least 10 years, I can absolutely say that this sound is just not really good - it's not big, dynamic and touching the feelings... Just a wall of sound where the instruments and vocals are like on the same level without any separation where they can shine. It's also really flat. And even if this is intentional, then it's not a mistake, but a really poor choice and this doesn't make the things better ;) The Nightwish fans need to realise that everyone makes stupid decisions sometimes and if you never criticize your favourite band, than you are just helping it to continue this road and never improve. Keep in mind that the criticism is one of those things that the real art needs in order to be flawless.

exactly. When I extracted the vocals I listened well, and I understood when they said that the mix "with vocals in the background" was on purpose
