Great explanation about Scan Interval Settings regarding Photo Engraving:

Remember to choose an image that would be suitable for laser engraving. For example, an image with a very busy background and not defined subject may not be ideal for engraving.

Although this was shown visually, I found your recommendations for photo burning using LightBurn to be very helpful, although for me it's a little tricky to get an exact configuration.
I have two questions: 1) Are the Spd/Pwr settings shown in the video suitable for a 5,5w Sculpfun S6 Pro laser? 2) Image mode can be Jarvis? Thanks

I am doing baby steps trying to learn Lightburn. Your video by far has been better and more helpful than all the other dozen I tried to use. I did however run into a snag right after clicking on setting the "Line Interval " (I set mine at .080) clicked "OK" then over to "Shape Properties". On the list in the picture from left to right is "Move" "File" "Camera Co" Variable T" and "Shape Proper..." On my Lightburn I have only 4 items, "Cuts/Layers" "Move" and "Console". I have the latest update loaded which I am assuming is why my menu is different. No where in the box can I find "Shape Properties". And I haven't been able to locate it anywhere. I am reluctant to push any buttons since I have already had to restart from the beginning 4 times. Can you help me out as to where I might find the "Shape Properties"? I did not "angle" (45*) mine back on the previous menu, but I do not think that is what my problem is. Can you help me?
Also, like Marcos S, I to am astonished at the lack of comments. Again, this has been the easiest place for me try and learn how to use my new X 7. Regardless of whether you can help me or even reply, THANK YOU for sharing your time and wisdom with all us Noob's!

It absolutely works on slate. Just a little bit of trial and error but you can get some really nice results.
