I am writing this note with immense gratitude and at the same time taking immense pride in the rich heritage. Sir John guy - thank you for a comprehensive, unbiased, well researched study and presentation on jain iconology. As a jain I find the presentation very revealing, textual, and objective. I can relate to images as explained and find the presentation very concise and comprehensive. Enjoyed every second of this presentation - Gaurav jain
Jain Kings and Emperors have also fought and defeated Hindu and Muslim kingdoms in wars. Followers of Jainism are Greater Warriors and Sons of the Land of India! Even today, Jains are at a Superfast Rising Rate! in India, and even in the entire world !
I know the truth is Painful to you since you're currently not a Jain. But truth is truth. Jain Kings are Great Warriors. Especially Mourya Kings and Emperors such as *Chandragupta Mourya, Bindusara, Kunala, Samprati and Shrenika Bimbsara* etc, are all Great Jain Kings & Warriors! And they have ruled the whole of India, including present day's Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and even Afghanistan.
the facts are facts that cannot be changed but bringing it in such a way that make others from different communities feel small compared to a particular community that too on a public platform is just sheer stupidity . ( fun fact - the basic concept on jainism is non violence ) so where do jain warriors come from ? are they really jain followers ? and are ALL JAINS GREATER SONS OF INDIA ?
If you have deeper knowledge of Jainism, then you would know that, Jainism only permits us Jains to fight in Self-Defense. The Greatest Warrior Kings of India, are all Jains. And don't forget that, even today there are so many Jains in the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. We Jains, never attack someone or some other country by ourself. But if we are *being attecked*, then we will surely defend ourselves / our Nation! Here are *some* Jain Kings / Emperors: *Chandragupta Mourya, Bindusara, Kunala, Shrenika Bimbsara, Samprati, King Kharavela of Kaling, Chavundaraaya, Amoghavarsha, and Bhoja 2*. Actually even Emperor Ashoka was a Jain at birth. And even when he fought wars and defeated so many other Kingdoms in India, he was a Jain. But later on his oldage, *Ashoka was the only one*, who converted to Buddhism, from Jainism! But all the other Powerful Kings are *100% Followers and Patrons* of Jainism!
Jai Jinendra Anekantavada
❤️
