Would you mind telling me who makes that slide-in camper and the tow behind the expedition camper? I haven't watched your channel in a long time so may have missed the review videos.
Nobody but Brad will ever understand the blood, sweat, tears and passion that goes into bringing us the viewers these stellar cinematic masterpieces. Thank you Brad.
Brad, one of the things that makes your videos so enjoyable to watch is actually what we get to listen to. Both you and Shaun have a way with words that truly compliment the visual!
This is my favorite series/trip to date. I loved the Arctic trip, but after going to AZ for the first time during this past Thanksgiving, I'm in love with it! Thank you guys!!!
The Artic trip was cool but it was a trip that so many people have done, so many times. Including me on my 2008 Yamaha WR250R. I like trips like this one better. Being out on the trail all day and not seeing anybody.
When you talk about rolling with hard times with a positive additude it really gives me confidence when I face hard times man. Thanks for the great views and that’s a killer hat! I’ll be sure to have mine on if I ever see you out on the dusty trail.
I live in Arizona and this channel has me developing a want to explore these back roads both here and other states. I took my young kids (9yo &11yo) on an off-road trip to Prescott, they originally didn't want to be away from their technology and tablets but now want to go every week. Maybe this has instilled some adventure into their spirits. Keep up the great work, I hope to meet you down the road.
For the taco it's a trick I learned while working at chipotle (and stole from taco bell). Make a mini quesadilla then open it and wrap your crunchy shell with it. You still get the crunch and the quesadilla holds it together.
Love the fact you came through Mammoth wish I had seen you guys. It's good to know a full-size vehicle will make it to Copper Creek. A big thanks for brushing Camino Rio. 😂😂
Thanks for the (vicarious) adventure Brad! Reminds me of when my wife and I took the kids (now quite grown) to so many great places in Arizona. We still live here, but now live the dream through you. Happy New Year!
You guys are finally giving OnX a reason to exist. Generally I find their info erroneous and just lacking compared to GAIA and TrailsOffroad, but seeing your route is pretty neat. You guys did a good job with the waypoints on it too. OnX should find a way to break it up into sections as that would be useful to people to estimate times. Now when people ask me about OnX, I’ll finally have a nice thing to say about it.
Another great adventure on the way. Living in the Houston area, Arizona is a viable destination for me and it's definitely on the list of places to explore.
Ahhh, the Arizona pinstripe. I live in SE AZ and you haven't wheeled in southern Arizona unless you have the "Southern Arizona Pinstripe Badge of Honor"
Another great video, thanks Brad.. BTW very possibly those were, Ringtail (mine) cat tracks. They are very curious critters as long as they don't see you.
Arizona has a lot of fun trails and a lot of history. While you were in the Copper Creek area the first night, I’ve been through that area many times on my side by side. The site you were at with the steps and Copper Creek written on the foundation is the site of the old post office. The road you were on where you had to do all of the tree trimming is usually our return road after exploring areas to the west on some much tighter trails.
Another great adventure BUT you went East away from our Mining area outside Florence, AZ where ther is so much adventure and open Chrysocolla gems (tourquoise like) of our Raymert Mine/Ajax Mine/Ohlahoma Mine zones. Come on back and spend 3 more days!
I haven’t heard it revealed but I believe they are traveling the Arizona BDR trail. I travelled this route 2 years ago. It was designed for motorcycles, however more and more high clearance 4x4s travels the route. Beautiful views, fun trip!! I drove it in my 2022 JLU Rubicon 2.0 turbo.
Agreed, unfortunately they are East of the Florence mining district with the slot canyons, open blue stone mines (Chrysocolla) and canyon camp sites that cut the wind. I could easily see a 3-4 day adventure on its own there - Brad please consider returning!
I like the 4WD camper. But when I camp, I like to cook outside. The food odors, grease. It eventually works its way into everything. This is what can bring the critters around. I always carry a couple of cans of bear spray. In easy reach.
After that run through the heavy brush from Mammoth to Dudleyville, you two deserve a couple of local mixed drinks called the San Pedro Torpedo: - 1 jigger whiskey - 1 jigger moonshine - 1 jigger tequila - 1 six-inch plug of chewing tobacco - 1 tumbler full of gunpowder - 1 head of a rattlesnake Mix ingredients, and let steep for 1 hour. NOTE: The drink is considered mild unless you add the final optional ingredient: a splash of water from the San Pedro river.
Raccoons on those paw prints. I have seen those many times before. A big rule that we have learned over the years. When it gets dark, close your rig up.
So I may send some shivers up that spine, but skunks and raccoons have five toes on front and back paws, and normally the claws are visible in the prints. Those prints look feline, like that of a bobcat. Because the curve of the truck, that second print looks like a pad on the bottom, but i believe its just because of the curve and pad just didn't fully imprint on the truck.
Camped in the same haunted house spot last spring. You can see the adventure on Mark Doiron's youtube channel Dxd overland. AZ was one of my favorite bdrs. Adventure on!
I am curious as to where could Shawn store extra fuel with his camper setup. Don't want fuel in the camper or cabin or on top. I see lp on the back but haven't seen his rear bumper setup. Larger or dual tank underneath woul work but be pricey.
Nice to see you back on the road adventuring! What mic do you use these days? We are still searching for good mics that can link to our cell phones when we film. Thanks in advance!
Hey Brad what years were you in Mesa Az? My family moved to Mesa inn 1977 I graduated Mesa High in 1986 and joined the Navy til 1998 then joined the Army 1998 to 2012. I to love exploring Az .
This year I had a flat twice 30 miles from everywhere, in Northern Nevada. The deserts here eat all terrains. I want to start carrying two spares. How many do you guys carry ?
Any 4x4 video I watch is suspiciously sponsored by OnX and they’re obviously pushing it hard. Is it worth it or are there competitors that are worth checking out as well?
Gaia still works as long as you don’t mind doing a lot of things manually. I find the interface clumsy and convoluted. Garmin has solutions as well. Brad tried one for a hot minute and he never said why he stopped using it but I’m betting it was clumsy too. OnX has been getting better all the time.
I've been using onX for 2 years solid now and while I appreciate their support of the channel, I would not use it or recommend it if I didn't think it was a great tool.
OnX is great but take some of the trail descriptions and trail guides written by users worth a grain of salt. Some are accurate, but others are over or under estimated with difficulty and with flat out errors that OnX hasn’t corrected (green trails that should be blue for example). Trail conditions also change regularly especially after storms so the last trail report might not have the most up to date conditions. I used to use a Delorme PN40 with gps coordinates that I would enter and it’s better than that. I’ve certainly found more trails I never knew about in my area.
*** Edit - So I checked Brad's offer and for $28/yr I'm going to give OnX a shot and compare it to Gaia and see.*** - It *seems* gimmicky and heavily pushed by influencers. I really loath making sure my Gaia app has the map layers I want on it at any given time,. The whole download process is painful and slow. However, I have over ten years of trails I've been on and past/future campsites logged here in AZ and UT. That’s gold when the day is coming to an end, and you have options that you’ve tagged from past experience, with pics in most cases.
A look at the trails I saw in this series look like my 21 2wd f150 could do it.. I have been on enough trails in 2wd trucks to know that looks are deceiving. I do need to get out of the phx metro.

I really appreciate you guys clearing that trail for me I'm going to be hitting it around spring or early summer 🤪👍🏻
And thank you Jeff for what you do too.
Oh that's right you have the frontier😂. Never thought I would see one of my favorite youtubers leaving a comment here.
Give it a break.. There's nothing hard about riding trail in a comfortable truck.
Ride a horse pulling pack mules like a real Cowboy..
Brad, one of the things that makes your videos so enjoyable to watch is actually what we get to listen to. Both you and Shaun have a way with words that truly compliment the visual!
You knocked it out of the park with this one Brad. The filming, music and narration are all top notch!
This is my favorite series/trip to date. I loved the Arctic trip, but after going to AZ for the first time during this past Thanksgiving, I'm in love with it! Thank you guys!!!

Family, Friends of family built those roads. good show, been 40+ years since I travelled some.
Love seeing these videos! Kind of old school TrailRecon…..I like it. Cheers!
Your drone work this series has been next level stuff. It’s like your own personal assistant for filming.
For the taco it's a trick I learned while working at chipotle (and stole from taco bell). Make a mini quesadilla then open it and wrap your crunchy shell with it. You still get the crunch and the quesadilla holds it together.

Men enjoying their lives and the outdoors......I approve!! Timmy C the forever bachelor.
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Trip filled with adventure and good food.
Thanks for the share 🇿🇦🤙👍
Thank you so much for this video. I really appreciate it. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday and a safe one.

This Arizona trips awesomeness! Both vids are great.
What a great adventure! Really enjoy the way you narrate the video, makes me look forward to what's around the next bend!
Another great adventure on the way. Living in the Houston area, Arizona is a viable destination for me and it's definitely on the list of places to explore.
Loving all of this. Can't wait to retire and make some of these memories!
I got a lot of pinstripes when my son and I where in Crown King. Beautiful country!
Seeing you guys enjoying those ribs while camping made me hungry. I'll be AFK while I go hunt down some ribs!
That was great; I believe I camped once in the same area(by the mine) in the 70’s; excellent memories 🤩😎⭐️⭐️
The video is excellent, but the terrific narration makes it all come together!
Another great video Brad! Survived "Mesquitemagedon" is rite of passage for southern Arizona and still looking great in the Stetson 🤠🤠
Love you guys! Great video as usual! Those with cowboy hats know you can’t really wear them with the jeep headrest, but I love it
Ahhh, the Arizona pinstripe. I live in SE AZ and you haven't wheeled in southern Arizona unless you have the "Southern Arizona Pinstripe Badge of Honor"

Brad, you have got to keep the cowboy hat. 🤠
Great vid. Fun to watch!
I want to thank you for taking us on your adventure at least we can watch now that some of us can’t go for what ever reason and don’t have a jeep
Beautiful Scenery!!!!
Brad, excellent trail video; one of my favorites. Power lift on your trailer topper tent? That is high speed-low drag!
Time for some xpel paint protection film!
Great video as usual. Thank you

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year,Brad🎉🎉🎉
Have fun, merry Christmas
Merry Christmas from the peace trial ,Yucca
Brad, this looks like an amazing adventure. One I dream about myself one day.
He drove right by the trail to The Oklahoma mine where Tourquiose and Chrsycolla gems can be found
Wow ,what a awesome adventure...
nothing but fun in Az...two words for that wind noise: ear plugs (keep 'em stashed in the tent)
noise supression ear buds without any source on
Pretty awesome views. Nice to know im not the only one pulling a camper trailer around az trails.
I worked at a video game store too. Two years. Best part time job ever. Long live Microplay Video Games
Almost nothing worse than thorn scratches all over your rig! The next folks that go through that stretch will appreciate your trail trimming!
lol that area you cut down branches is where I hunt javelina every year outside of Mammoth and my Gladiator gets destroyed there. 😂
It’s nice to see you back in the field with a really challenging Recon for the bucket!! Vr, Even C
Respect the Taco!
That looks fun. Thank you.
Living the dream
You should’ve stopped at the Flintstone Village! It was right along your route.
Yes.... or The Florence Mining zone
Amazing
Brad is like the dad from Calvin and Hobbes 😂😂
.. as my girlfriends have said. "Why do you Think God made it look like a Taco??" - respect the Taco.
Dual Snorkels ROCK!!!
I like the 4WD camper. But when I camp, I like to cook outside. The food odors, grease. It eventually works its way into everything. This is what can bring the critters around. I always carry a couple of cans of bear spray. In easy reach.
Really nice setups!
Overgrown trails with thorn brushes are kind of common in Europe, mostly with mud adding another layer of excitement to the equation 😂
Love it.
That's exactly how you eat a taco, with respect! Nice video dude.
The hat looks good on ya
Tellin' you Brad, that hat is you!
After that run through the heavy brush from Mammoth to Dudleyville, you two deserve a couple of local mixed drinks called the San Pedro Torpedo:

Mix ingredients, and let steep for 1 hour.

The paw prints on the truck might be the AZ coatimundi
Hey I'm from Mesa too, Westwood class of '95!
Raccoons on those paw prints. I have seen those many times before. A big rule that we have learned over the years. When it gets dark, close your rig up.
06:17 - That's beautiful!

@@MMOverlandAdventures full size one, sure. It also does look like some of them have five pads so it very well could be a raccoon.
I really wish I had more buddy’s to go off roading with, location in Tucson if anyone wants to explore the Arizona desert
Lots of guys out wheeling in AZ, maybe there is local club you can connect with.
Same for East Tennessee. My friends have 4x4s but they’re all mall crawlers.
you put an empty taco shell underneath the tacos you're eating, So, when you're done eating 3 you'll get a 4th one !!! lol
Camped in the same haunted house spot last spring. You can see the adventure on Mark Doiron's youtube channel Dxd overland. AZ was one of my favorite bdrs. Adventure on!
Hard shell tacos? Come on guys, let's step up the taco game 🤣🤣
You should buy some
Of the arm protection sleeves that gardeners use to protect our skin when pruning
Great video but you do realize by wearing the great looking hat, that you have a new nick name now, and that would be Woody. ( Toy Story)
Still loving the hats!
I am curious as to where could Shawn store extra fuel with his camper setup. Don't want fuel in the camper or cabin or on top. I see lp on the back but haven't seen his rear bumper setup. Larger or dual tank underneath woul work but be pricey.
Little trailer looks awesome, but just looks like a gaggle of problems waiting to happen !
Nice to see you back on the road adventuring! What mic do you use these days? We are still searching for good mics that can link to our cell phones when we film. Thanks in advance!
Great video Brad. Can I ask the seat covers you have can you post a link? Thanks for all the good content
16:11 nothing wrong with tacos. Every long adventure I take has at least 1 taco night 😁🌮
Hey Brad what years were you in Mesa Az? My family moved to Mesa inn 1977 I graduated Mesa High in 1986 and joined the Navy til 1998 then joined the Army 1998 to 2012. I to love exploring Az .
At 10:45 is Shawn carring a DSLR on a gimple mount?
Look at it this way you helped out by clearing that road.

Dear Sirs, what about "Ringtailed Cats"?
I see a lot of people going to full size trucks these days...
And I really don't know if that's a step up... 🤷
Yes, back in the Jeep 👍🏻 … not a fan of the Toyota.
I'm thinking those were fox tracks on your rig.
Do you prefer driving your gladiator more then the 392?
Where did you go to highschool in Mesa? Mtn View class of 90 here.
You’re supposed to wrap your hardshell taco in a flower tortilla
Great trip, where is Marco by the way?
What do you do if a car comes the other direction?
