The first humans God created named Adam and Eve acctually sinned against God EVEN though they were walking WITH God himself in the garden of Eden. Long story short, we are all born into sin because if Adam and Eve didn't sin one of us would have eventually. We know God has a moral standard because if we see someone getting killed right in front of us for no reason we know its wrong. The bible acctually says God moral law is written on our hearts, which is why deep down, whether we want to accept it or not, we all know the difference between right and wrong. Because a PERFECT and HOLY God is so serious about sin the bible says the wages of Sin in DEATH. In other words the wage God is paying us for our sin is death. Its like if a guy who raped a 7 year old girl than killed her is in court and is laughing about it like its no big deal. We would hope that the judge gives him the death sentence for what he's done and for how vain he's being about it. This is what God is doing. By paying us in death for our sin he's showing us how deadly serious he is about sin. Btw not death on this earth, when the bible talks about death it means hell or eternal suffering with the devil. So here's my question to you. What did Jesus do for guilty sinners so that we wouldn't have to go to hell? 🤔 ... if you're in court, and you're charged with a ton of speeding fines the ONLY way you can get out is if someone who HASN'T committed that crime PAYS you're bail. John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Brother or sister if you can get a grip of this, this will change everything for you. The 10 commitments are God's moral law. You and I are sinned, Jesus PAYED the fine. That's why he said "it is finished" just before he died. A holy God came down to earth as a man, a SUFFERING the most brutal death of being wipped, his hands and feet nailed to a cross, so that we could have eternal life and go to heaven!!! Isn't that just great!!! It's a free gift from God because he loves us soooooooo much ❤️ What do we do to receive this gift and be forgiven for our sins once and for all you may ask? 🤔 We'll... the bible explains it perfectly. Romans 10:9-10 says "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. The bible also speaks on the importance of repentance. What is repentance? It's acctually a change of mind or turning away from something. And the thing we are repenting or turning away from is sin. So how do we receive the gift of salvation so that we can live in eternal peace with God in heaven?
