Brilliant insights from Palmer, especially the uplift concept right at the end!

When he was talking about 'brain-folding', I could totally picture Luckey being the lead scientist of a real Jurassic Park. "Hey wouldn't it be cool to create a human-smart raptor for fun?''

What a brilliant dude. I am smarter after listening to him talk, and now exploring my own web of tanget thoughts that were awakened by this interview. Big thanks to Alex for keeping out of the way, and letting Palmer talk.

Alex very balance and good push back. actually you sound on opposing side, since I hear you as more conservative pushback during this week in tech. good counter to palmer but balance question.

The focus is here in America if it's not home then it will not be nowhere

Walk soft and carry a big stick. Like a nuke everyone knows it’s ultimately assured self destruction. Anytime you can save lives it is well worth the cost. Such a breath of fresh air to hear someone from Silicon Valley to have a since of patriotism.

I think VR will have its place in the world but what Palmer is asking for I see in neuralink in a few years

Neurolink is the long game it won’t be perfected in our lifetime sorry to say BUT VR/AR will we have vr headset/haptic gloves and suits being made by 2030 I don’t think ppl would care about wearing a headset because the experience will feel so real the 2030s is when reality blurs

I'm morally opposed to species uplifting. Messing with the natural order and such...
That was until Palmer mentioned uplifting parrots! All for it now.

Please don't be a anti-military isolationist appeaser it will only lead to more conflict and more death, we tried that once during WW2 and can't afford to do it again, you sound a lot like Neville Chamberlain

I think maybe he was playing devil's advocate. Not a bad thing for a podcaster to do IMO.
