TEMBO (Developers of AO) has conducted various education workshops for global installations via Webex since 2016. The last series of workshops in 2017 was recorded for potential public consumption. These workshops were intended to provide the IBM i professional, specifically RPG developers, with an overview of the latest capabilities that have been supplied in ILE, the RPG IV language, and elsewhere in the IBM i operating system to allow for vastly improved productivity, agility and the development of high-performance applications. Much emphasis is given to “data-centricity,” leveraging all the inherent unique capabilities of DB2 for i and modular reusable components.
