Fantastic quality, never tire of these nostalgic nineties north Wales 37s. Good to see 408 in there.
Excellent shots - proper camerawork with smooth zooms, perfect framing and some really interesting angles. Even nice exposure settings given a few bits of tricky lighting. An archive worth keeping and protecting (unlike some of the random mobile phone stuff with jerky sooms and vertical framing - a lesson in how to do it right :-) ) I bought my first large format still camera to capture these trains - got home after the first trip and rushed to get the transparencies developed... the second-hand camera was over-exposing by about a stop so a ruined film from a lovely sunny day. Went back with that correction in mind and did get a great set of stills - but wish I'd taken my video kit now...
Thanks Tony, this material did come from a VHS video thet i did sell back in the 90s and appreciate the comments about the camera work. Moden technology allows the improvement of this footage, i too bought still cameras soon after this, but looking back wished i had continued with Video.

The 90's and 2000's were the golden era of UK railways. It'll never be like this again, but I'm hoping to change that.
How will you change it?
80's was the golden era, where you could chase around the country of any class, wether that was 37's and 40's steam heat or no heat freight locos all over the network.
