The car park is in a multistorey car park for they're town centre.
This was perfect timing! I was going to go to ikea today but it raining so watching this has given me some great ideas to look for!

I love how you can mix and match so much tupperware in Ikea, I particularly like how the glass ones are ovenproof too if I'm not mistaken, so you can use it as a tray for pasta bakes and stuff like that (as you can probably tell, I'm obsessed with it as well and I'm only 22 😜😂)
Top tip, theres a white plastic cutlery insert From ikea that is like a few mm to wide for the alex drawers but you can trim the side down with scissors and it fits perfect and is a brilliant storage fix.
I have been desperate to go to IKEA since they closed, for general stuff. Your vlog reminded me they are open again and then watching it has given me ideas of what's is store that I can get! Very excited for an IKEA trip! Thank you for this! 💖

I love this! Reminds me of the pre-COVID shop with me vlogs. Also, IKEA is so fun!
Skubb boxes are great for temporary use when doing a craft project or for kids to keep parts of a toy they're playing with all together. Then they can be folded up and put away after use - excellent! Check out IKEA's Variera kitchen shelf inserts, these little metal shelves maximise cupboard space, particularly with plates, cans, and pans, as they create an extra level to your shelves.

Love this! I feel like we have very similar IKEA shopping styles, I always park in the same spot as you (despite living 10 mins walk away). So glad it wasn’t too busy!

It’s always so handy to have a little essential bag with you when you go shopping or anywhere especially masks & hand sanitizer. I like seeing storage boxes too. I probably will need to get some when I move into the accommodation place. I like seeing bedding too. Love all of your purchases especially the fake plant, desk mat, computer riser & Skubb. 😊

I can vouch for those pull out beds being easy to use and comfortable - my husband and I are fussy and slept well at a friends house! Also 28 and a Tupperware snob - there is a place for us 😂 also have one one proper alive plant... I’m all about the IKEA fake ones they’re soo good - right jollied up our home and as we use it as an air bnb I think the photos look way better with them in, so as your home is essentially a studio for your vlogs I say you can’t go wrong!

Hey Brogan, dont apologise about the faux plants, I am a plant lady and buy both. I love greenery around me and some places in the house a real plant would suffer/ not be happy as in too hot and sunny a windowsill or too dark an area. Most houseplants don't want direct sunlight all day, so I use the faux ones in those places. Honestly some are copied so well, visitors dont notice they are faux and compliment me on them lol.

Thanks for the video, the wooden chopping board we have had for years you need to treat it first otherwise will warp. In time it settles but takes a while. We treated our second and didn't have that problem. Just some warning i wished someone gave us.
We have the computer riser and hubby swears by it

Little tip about suitcase padlocks - if somebody wants to get into your suitcase, all they have to do is stab the zip with a pen and it opens up. The padlocks are useless and just make your suitcase more of a target because it makes it look like there are valuables in the case!

Definitely get a sofa bed for your spare room, I bought a normal bed and really regret it.
We have a normal bed too but I think a sofa bed is better for a spare room!
If you love tubber wear , you will love stasher bags. Google them. I got mine on Amazon and they are brilliant. Use for my lunch for work. So compact. East to clean. They don’t up as much room as tubber wear either. X

I LOVE IKEA!!! 😍😍😍 Unfortunately, we don't have one where we live now, and haven't gotten as far as Jacksonville, FL (a couple hours away), since before covid. Maybe before too much longer... 😁 It looks like you had fun and got some nice things! I've been using silicone bakewear for years and love it (banana bread, YES!!! 🍌😁🍌). Thanks for sharing and continued love and health from across the pond!!! 💜💜💜

yaaayyyy shoppiiiinnnggg :-) Oh I must remember that about the cheap toys in the kids section for the pets. That's brilliant! My dog doesn't rip them apart, but he does usually have one favourite and he takes it everywhere with him :) So it does get dirty and all that, brilliant hack, thanks! :-)
Ok, I need to jump on that skubb bandwagon I believe! I never really liked them when I saw them in Ikea, I just think they are the ugliest things, but .... I can see now how handy they can be and I do need something like that to have some better storage in the drawers under our bed. So again, thanks for the tip! :-)
Hahaha yeah...welcome to adulthood, part 2: where you get excited for tupperware, vacuum cleaners and cleaning accessories :p I feel ya :p
Also: I never was a plant lady but since my burn out almost 3 years ago, I have fallen in love with plants and we now have half a jungle haha :p So I guess, as I'll be turning 38 next month, I'm entering chapter 3 of adulthood: becoming a crazy cat/plant person :p (fun thing: I will be getting a cat for my birthday as well, so I'll be both! :p) haha
Oh well, as long as we are happy and can laugh, right?!

Your fake plants just made me think - What happened with your (I think) sunflower seeds you were growing on the kitchen window? - Also I did the same as you and was straight to the Warrington Ikea (closest to me) on the 12th too. So good having some normality resume.
Sadly died....we had it for a while and it grew to a nice height but it didn't survive the winter! I couldn't agree more!
