I just love your videos. There are not many which deliver so much value. Keep up the great work on both channels! Btw - would you agree that TH-cam is one way to set up a passive income stream for the future? I mean - in 20 years from now your videos will still be evergreen because these topics don't change and you'll still make money from them. Would you agree? I unfortunately have a monetised German TH-cam channel which does not bring in a lot of revenue each month but it does - even after not posting videos for several month it still brings in money. So I was thinking: If I would not getting $50 per month from my channel but $100 it would add over time as long as I keep the videos evergreen... would you agree?

Hi - And thank you! Yes, I'd agree that TH-cam could be a source of passive income if you make evergreen videos. Waht I don't know yet is: What happens to views if you stop posting for a long period of time? Also, I'm not sure, but I think TH-cam might stop paying you if views drop below a certain level. For your German channel, maybe post those videos in two languages. Make it in your preferred language, and then make a 2nd version in the other language. Not too much more work, but the potential for a lot more views.
      Good luck!

Hi there. I just followed the link you placed on your other channel, to check out this channel. I'm new to your content and just watched your video titled "Do Not Have a Side Hustle." Do you now rescind that position here in this video? I noticed you said here: do not rely on a paycheck for income. This seems to contradict the video on your other channel in which you said don't waste time on side hustles, but, rather build a thriving business by identifying a problem, solving, getting paid for it, scaling and then repeating process. Yet, in this video you seem to imply that people should build multiple streams of income, a pursuit the average Joe would probably try to accomplish using said side hustle, which you just said on your other channel to avoid.
I do think a viable, scalable business that adds value by solving an actual peoblem is a wiser use of time than chasing a "side hustle" just for the sake of saying one has a side hustle.
In short, are you now recommending that side hustles are worthwhile?

Multiple streams of income don’t have to come from a side-hustle - and you’re very limited if you have to rely on yourself constantly actively working just to earn the money from a side hustle.
A lot of people (the average Joes) think about what side-hustle they can do to make more money, but that’s not very practical since there are only six many hours a week and you only have so much energy and can only get so much money from that.
Which is why those people who are young but already wealthy (and many financially successful people in general) say “don’t work for your money, make your money work for you” and “don’t chase pennies”.
They’re talking about how the smart way to make money is through having passive income streams - they learn how to invest in shares (and learn how to do it the smart way with methods that increase their chance of returns and decrease their risks), reinvest a little more every now and then and let their profits compound.
Sure, you COULD pick up a side-hustle, but how many hours of spare time a week will be left for you to enjoy your hobbies, relax and recover from the exhaustion, spend time with friends and family and not have those relationships suffer - and how much more money will that get you in return in the end for all those hours sacrificed?
I’m guessing this is what he was referring to when he said “don’t have a side-hustle, but have other streams of income and don’t rely on a paycheck for an income.”

So glad you posted again! I agree 100% about moving to a job with a higher salary. My colleagues and I are in this situation at the moment, but we are all in our mid-40s and have been working since high school. Our problem is that companies do not want to know what we think at jobs. They want "yes" workers that do not know better. My solution is to keep looking, but to offer as many self-employed services as you are able to do. In my opinion, working for yourself is the only way. Harder, but more gratifying. Greetings from South Korea.
