Really cool! I like this one a lot, could use some LED lights to enhance the spraying factor.
I'd buy this. Looks well-made, and due to the lack of a vacuum blower, there's not too much to block up or start smelling. Water pickup seems fine, too.
Just watched your video and then used my new purchase. Very impressed with how quiet and light it is, but at the end of the first clean of the kitchen and hall, with charge on 64% it keeps turning itself off. Checked both brush rolls and can't see a problem. Have just plugged it in to do the self clean and only the front roller is working. Something not right, shame as so far was really impressed with how each/quick and straight forward it is. Hopefully this is not a major problem as otherwise so far so good.
How did you get on with it, Sue - did you contact the retailer for a replacement? It really shouldn't fail that quickly... 😕

Watched your video the day it came out… went straight onto Google and searched for them. B&Q had them on special from £150 to £41.99 on a special deal. Ordered one and it’s arrived but haven’t opened it yet. Tried to go back on and order a second for my parents but they’d sold out!

Unfortunate that the top of the floor head is not transparent so we can’t see the water being “squeezed” out of the rollers and poured into the tank, interesting that it is passive ~ unlike the others that suck the water off the rollers. And the the tank full alarm - must have an optical sensor for that? the other vacuum based ones using a float to cut off the vacuum
Any UK folk here in summer 2024, Rug Doctor have now discontinued this model.
My father's motor on his gave out after 6 uses - smoke coming out of it!
RD refunded him with no questions - they didn't even want the machine back, so I wonder if it's a common problem...
Wonders if you have to use their solution or if you could spray flash as you go instead ?

Exactly the thing I was looking for! Doesn’t look like they include any fluid with it though which is a shame- but verrrry tempted!!
It uses a tiny amount of solution per full tank. I think I was using too much, 10ml per tank would be more than enough so one bottle should last a long time. I even found out you can machine wash the rollers though it doesn’t mention it in the instruction book. I washed mine on a 20 minute quick wash and they now look like they did when I first used the machine. With the dogs trailing in mud every time they go out, I have been using it several times a day. The emptying takes a bit of getting used to, but I really like it.

You could have used the Rug Doctor Flexclean you already have or did you sell it? I’ve been doing videos on the new Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam, I bought it from bissell and got 10% off been a new customer, I’ve been doing shorts and videos 5 minutes long of it in action, you should do an in-depth video of it like you do all your unboxing and review and demonstrations.
The Flexclean was noisy and difficult to use on hard floors so I sold it. This cordless model is ideal for daily use. I’ve no plans to get a Hydrosteam at the moment even with the 20% discount I was offered.

cheaper and simpler (likely more reliable) compared to Bissel Tineco wet vacuums. do you have an idea how reliable those wet vacs are?

I think I’d rather have the Karcher steamer canister with all of the attachments.
I can’t use steam cleaners on any of my hard floors as the manufacturers advise against it.
