Yes! Putting your baby on a schedule is a life saver. My children were on a schedule and our house was always structured and in order. They are adults now and they are so grounded and well rounded.

@LivinFearless people told me the same thing, "Babies are going to do what they want. You need to adjust to their schedule. No, ma'am. I was the only one of my friends who could take a bath and read a book lol. Everyone else was stressed out.
I totally agree with you. My husband and don't have kids yet, but we are starting the process to have a family and we believe in a schedule. The baby has to add to our lives not control it. Glad we are not the only ones that believe in this. ❤️

Schedules help so much. When the sleep regressions happen as they inevitably will just remember to stick to the schedule.

The first thing my mother told me the 2nd day my oldest daughter was born was to change the feeding and sleep schedule the hospital had her on once she comes home. Some of the best advice I ever received, that was 30 years. I did that with all 6 of my kids. Now the 17 year old is still on the schedule 😂 that’s for another day

Because of your advice I think before I put a purchase on credit, and my mantra is now stay ready so I don't have to get ready. That is what I keep in mind when planning for the future. Love the transparency of the vlog!! I can definitely relate to 9-5 struggles. I try to get through close as quickly as I can so I can relax my brain...lol. I definitely agree with you on not going back into the office setting full time. That era for me is completely over! I'm hybrid for now. I go in 2 days a week, but eventually I will be 100% remote. 🙏🏾

I work for the financial side of a major, major Captive Automotive company. And yes, preCovid, I had to show up 5 days a week, etc. Now, we are all remote and required to come in the office 2 days a month. Which I do not mind because the office is gorge! I love it. TFS your story.

I agree with putting the child on a sleep schedule. It was the first thing my mom recommended we do when we had our son. It was the best thing we ever did, for us. Our son was asleep every night by 7:30pm & up by 7:30am. For the rest of his adolescent years, he had a schedule. He's now almost 30 but you did the best thing for you, your husband and your son.

Having a sleep schedule is awesome. I babysat my nephew for a few months and had him (toddler) napping for about three hours each day. During his sleep time I worked, cleaned and sometimes even napped 😂.
It’s so good when you know that because of their schedule, you can still be productive and get things done

I’m a mom of 3, my grandmother in law told me with our first that if I didn’t put my baby on a schedule, he would put me on a schedule and it’s true 8 years later! 😂 My youngest is one and I’m going to check out the book because 3 children later, 110% in, I would have loved to preserve more of me! 🤍

I can totally relate to your opinion for remote work and the work environment that you prefer. I totally agree. Now that I'm 100% remote, I am not interested in moving to a company that will not offer that. I know not every company will give that option and that's okay, I just know that I'm not the right person for the role

I watched the entire thing while working 😅. I’m so glad you went into detail about your 9-5. I’ve always wondered how you were able to pull away from your 9-5 and do other things. I wish I was able to get a job with that much flexibility because I have 1000000 things on my daily to-do list. 😵💫
I'm an accountant in management for an F500 (not finance). My department was 50% work from home, then went 99% during covid. I will NEVER go back to 100% for any company... unless the💰 is ridiculous.

Hello Alicia and William. To break the habit of saying "so and um", just take a breath first. The hat on Alexander is so cute...looked like William. I'm a mother of a son and it was so HARD to leave him for the night the first time and he was with this grandmother...so HARD. It never gets easier, I hate to say it but, in order for him to be well adjusted, it's necessary. Enjoy your trip to London....Alexander will be fine.

My daughter is now 26. She still have a hard time being wake beyond 8pm. She was such on a training schedule that one time we were on vacation (she was about 8 or 9 years old) and the child drop sleep in a movie at 8. No joke. Hunny we Carribbean people believe in a bedtime/ sleep schedule routine from birth. Night night baby, see you in the morning😂

Sometimes when I’m in the car or walking and showing my face. I try to avoid using the front face as you can clearly see a difference. In this entire vlog, I never used the front camera though

I pay around $15-$20 depending on how much you need them altered. Depending on where you leave that could be the average price

Love the way you are already back into you old life. If this is personal I apologize but I wanted to know do you breastfeed or pump and if not is there a reason why. Cause my boy is 6 months and I breastfeed but I can't for the life of God get my life back on track. I am in baby mode all day everyday pajamas army new wardrobe lol just love the mom you are and would love to know how you got back on track.
Hi! No need to apologize. When he first came home, I was doing a combination of pumping formula and it was a struggle because I just wasn’t making enough to sustain him. He’s now only on formula. I felt bad initially because my body wasn’t able to do that form him but at the end of the day, he’s a healthy and happy baby and that’s all that I care about.
If that wasn't a sign that you didn't need another cup of coffee....
