Glad to see I’m not the only one who feels that way. I got surprisingly emotional at the beginning of this. I lost my cat, Cosmo, also ginger, 6 years ago. We got a kitten nearly 2 months later. We did it earlier than normal because our other cat was depressed (we also lost our dog 2 days after, so she was really bad). But getting a kitten really helped with the mourning process. I think what helped the most was being able to provide love to another thing. She obviously didn’t replace him, but it was good to be able to love another, while dealing with the loss of another love. Also the stress of introducing a new kitten was also a nice distraction!😅 I’m sorry about the loss of your cat. It’s hard losing a member of the family.

It’s been so healing to see scar playing with his cats while doing something. Scar, we’re on almost the same timeline, and it’s been both heartbreaking and reassuring to see those difficult moments peek through that I’m sure many second time pet owners can relate to. I lived without cats for like 6 months when I was 20 and developed a cat allergy, so you may actually be a little bit allergic to your new babies, but they're adorable and there are lots of ways you can make yourself less allergic to them (or more likely, make them produce less allergies for you) - like a special cat diet! Your new babies are adorable, and they are gonna be such a great addition to everything.
My 1 year old daughter just recently met her grandparents cats (these cats are brother and sister as well!) And she adores them, so she thoroughly enjoyed seeing your cats! Thank you for sharing them with us!! She is a big fan!
This VOD could not come at a better time. I've been pet-sitting for family for the past weekish, a dog and two chickens, but tonight I'm finally going home to my two cats that I miss so much... This cuteness will tide me over until then :D
I am actually tearing up seeing you with your new kitties. so happy to see that you have some new love in your life. In June 2020 I had to put down my service dog. He had severe nerve pain in his spine that was not improving and in his old age there was not much the vets could do. It was one of the hardest days of my life. I didn't think I would want another dog soon but I started to slip into depression without him. so I ended up adopting a puppy after a couple months. Noah is now 4 years old and does not have the temperment for service dog training but he is an amazing companion and has come to fill my heart. While my disability is more invisable, it definitely allows me to relate to the comfort an animal can bring. Dealing with health issues can be very isolating and makes it difficult to maintain in person friendships. There is something so extra special about having a pet.
@@FionaPGT I am doing ok. Shopping is a lot harder now. Spunky was a medical alert dog. He would tell me to sit and rest. I have a VP shunt to keep the pressure in my brain down. If I am upright too long I get very light headed and confused from the excess spinal fluid gravity makes drain. So having Spunky tell me to rest before I got to that point made things a lot easier. He would signal me before the actual symptoms started. It gave me enough time to either sit down somewhere or to check out quickly before the symptoms hit. Now I have to try and remember to pace myself.
Seems like that's always the way. After losing such a special friend, it takes 2 replacements to fill that hole. I lost my buddy (see my avatar) in 2021, and we've collected 3 more pups since then. Each one is special in their own way.
As someone who has played games older than myself, and who knows that the original "video game" (as we know it) is actually Tennis for Two, played on an Oscilloscope, I appreciate Scar's incredulity at being called 40. Though the game reminiscence did bring back memories. My dad's actually a programmer and worked on one of the early iterations of Oregon Trail, as well as some other games (he mentioned working on a Multi User Dungeon type games, I really should ask him... when he's not playing on his computer.)
Oh, oh! @gwynethambrose9682 My daughter said, when they had mentioned Oregon Trail, that she'd love to see an immersive online Oregon Trail game... where you're actually doing the things in the game, traveling the Oregon Trail... kind of like Lord of the Rings Online. Wishful thinking, I know, but maybe your dad would know the people to make that happen! :)
@@AliraRielle I checked, but apparently that was so long ago (around 50 years) that he's forgotten all but a few first names of the people he worked with. That does sound like a super neat concept, though!
Scar's most likely 34 or 35, which puts him in the right age to be a child old enough to remember seeming the first Star wars prequel movie in theaters in 1999, while also being too young to have his own Game boy and being a teen in 2004
It helps that they got them as kittens. When you teach them that holding them is fine and safe as kittens, they don't seem to mind as much as adult cats.
Putt everything you learnt from you old cat in to a new one ! Thats the best way to honnor your old cat ! There's no use in being sad for to long, and a new cat always makes you happy !
I dont comment much on anything but I want to thank you Scar. Like many others you've shed some light in a dark time of my life. I am losing my dad to cancer after losing my grandfather less than two months ago and the pain is surreal. I only find some brief moments of peace while watching your vods. I see you and all you endure. Keep being the amazing person you are and take care of yourself. Ps love the kitties 😸
I don't know if you know how to read "cat language" but, while sitting on your lap (before Jar Jar, sorry Scar), Katy Bee was quite comfortable. Not, like, "falling asleep" relaxed but not stressed. Eyes bright, ears forward, head up, she was having a good time!
The cats are excellent, but I also really loved to hear the guys chat about video games and old media. Really cool to hear about everyone’s path through gaming!! Tango’s home arcade sounds awesome…
@etho I will always try correct this stereotype or phrase of "the Low Man on the Totem pole". I'm a little disappointed, but not surprised of your ignorance on the subject. Its a common misunderstanding. To me, as a Native American / Indigenous / Aboriginal person, that phrase is like nails on a chalkboard. Nature and the Animal world has never been beneath Mankind. They used to be treated with the utmost respect. Which is why the first peoples emulated them soo much. A majority of the Old Totem Poles don't have any human figures at all. Totem Poles are individual stories of a family's lineage or history. It starts at the base and moves up the pole. It tells a story of how each House or Clan came to be. The first figure, in my mind is the strongest. It is literally holding up the rest of the pole. Its usually a colonial / monarchial way of thinking that the one on top has the most power or is the most important. A hierarchy that does not apply to firstnations way of life. Therefor the phrase itself is ignorant of a whole cultures unique history. Sorry for the random rant but Thank you for your time.
Aww Scar, your new cats are adorable! 🐱 I love hearing their names too, it fits them so well. Mr. Finnegan looks like he has so much personality already! 😂 Can't wait to see more adventures with them! 🐾✨
Speaking of your grandfather and his car, last year I found my dream car, from 1998, and it literally looked like if you'd gone back in time and went into the car sales place. It was barely used and pristine!
Great observation with how the cats react to the lights! Cats do see the world very differently than us, and that includes artificial lights. When we turn on a LED lamp, we see a constant stream of light. The light is actually flickering but our human eyes don't detect it. Cat eyes DO see the flicker, though! :) they see so many things that we don't, they're very sensitive little creatures.
OH MY GOSH THE FLOOFS ❤ I'm happy you got new kitties. We all know jellie is loved always but I'm glad you get to have new experiences with new frens to heal also! Adding they are beautiful!! Love that pattern and color.

One of my cats loves to to hide his face in my hand, or rather his entire head since I have quite big hands. I've got him after my previous cat passed away, he greeted me at the entrance to the cat section of animal shelter, he was just few months old and immediately started to suck my forearm after taking him into my arms. Two years later I've adopted his sister, and I was totally right thinking he would be very welcoming and a great big brother.
Thank you for sharing your new friends with us! I have been having a hard time dealing with the loss of my beloved dog olive whom we loved for 14years! Your thoughts on getting another pet and how much Jellie impacted your life just shined so much perspective into my own feelings about getting another pet. We loved the new kittens from the very first photos!

I lost my kitty Captain Nemo a couple years before the pandemic because he lost weight and couldn't gain it back :( Seeing your new kitties was really fun and they're so cute! It gives me hope that I can also heal enough from losing Nemo to foster a couple new kitties as well
Guys, I fell asleep drunk watching TH-cam, woke up sober listening to your channel, reminiscing on your fist computer games. My first gaming set up was atari, can't remember the model, but I had centipede. While my brother one year younger had the NES with Mario. Life was not fair lol
Tip every time you stream give them treats it won't take long for them to realise stream a fun. Then if the interact with stram give the treats again. They pick it up really quick. I use this method when teaching new kittens to harnesses and leash train. Also when it comes to traing them what to do when i am having a bad ADHD moment aka over stimulation after i calm down i treat them and now even the cat that only puts up with me will calm me down and my daughter so its worked for us. Only do this if you want them to come and interact if not just leave it.

So funny, starting the stream I didn't know what that figurine was that Scar was holding. Stopped watching and went on to watch Star Wars episode I (after watching EP. IV, V and VI to keep up with Gem) had seen the original 3 but never the prequels, so surprised to suddenly recognize the figurine was Jar Jar when I came back to continue watching the VOD

1:35:40 watching scar fighting his cat with gem commentating while cub dancin in the distance lol
1:07:55 Cub horn potential "Sometimes I skulk by accident" 😂
My 1 year old daughter just recently met her grandparents cats (these cats are brother and sister as well!) And she adores them, so she thoroughly enjoyed seeing your cats! Thank you for sharing them with us!! She is a big fan!
That’s so cute! Congrats on the grandparent kitties :3
HER GRANDPARENTS ARE CATS?!
@@CleanupinAisle6 :0
Also scar educating the kitties on darth jar jar lore 😂
I wonder if the cats can hear the lights. I'm autistic and can hear every light in my house, so I wonder if it's the same for cats.
This VOD could not come at a better time. I've been pet-sitting for family for the past weekish, a dog and two chickens, but tonight I'm finally going home to my two cats that I miss so much... This cuteness will tide me over until then :D
They look like little balls of fluff. SO CUTEE. But jellie will forever be in our harts ♡
Just curious, how are you fairing without a service doggo now? You going good?
Katy Bee watching Minecraft is just like my guinea pig Smudge watching me play Zelda games, specifically botw and totk
I’m so happy for you scar!! I have 4 cats and fostered and then shortly adopted 2 twins about a year ago and since then they’ve brought so much joy!
2:05 oh nothing just considering biting your oxygen tube
Awww Mr Finnegan and Katy Bee are adorable! But no other cat will replace our love for Jellie as well
Seeing scar with his cats… and how he stumbles over jellies name… not me sobbing this whole time
Those shelves behind you will never be the same after getting kittens
Scar's most likely 34 or 35, which puts him in the right age to be a child old enough to remember seeming the first Star wars prequel movie in theaters in 1999, while also being too young to have his own Game boy and being a teen in 2004
The kitties are adorable! They seem so chill too! My cat loves me, but he would never let me hold him for that long
It helps that they got them as kittens. When you teach them that holding them is fine and safe as kittens, they don't seem to mind as much as adult cats.
Putt everything you learnt from you old cat in to a new one ! Thats the best way to honnor your old cat ! There's no use in being sad for to long, and a new cat always makes you happy !
NEW CATS!!! I love hearing the joy and excitement back in Scars voice! Makes me so happy!!
Petition for Scar to make a channel called "GoodTimesWithCats"
GoodCatsWithScar
Adorable, and so beautiful, and I know Jellie is smiling and happy knowing your giving love to the new kitties 😊.
I don't know if you know how to read "cat language" but, while sitting on your lap (before Jar Jar, sorry Scar), Katy Bee was quite comfortable. Not, like, "falling asleep" relaxed but not stressed. Eyes bright, ears forward, head up, she was having a good time!
The cats are absolutely wonderful, and it makes me smile that it takes 2 to fill jellie's paws. I know shes sitting there watching them make you smile
There is some comfort in the fact that etho's mystory game that he is addicted to is a mystory to the hermits as well😅
The cats are excellent, but I also really loved to hear the guys chat about video games and old media. Really cool to hear about everyone’s path through gaming!! Tango’s home arcade sounds awesome…
Love you scar
Take care of yourself
I love that jellies best bud has new friends. Kittens help. Jellie loves you and them.
Lovely marking on the cats.
I just lost one of mine. Takes time to process and decide to get another cat. Happy for you!
Your cats are super cute scar! Loving the names and you can tell the difference between them easily ❤
Congrats on your new babies! And Tango is right about those paws. If Finn is anything like my boy those big paws mean he's going to be a very big boy.
Aww Scar, your new cats are adorable! 🐱 I love hearing their names too, it fits them so well. Mr. Finnegan looks like he has so much personality already! 😂 Can't wait to see more adventures with them! 🐾✨
Congrats on that cats scar!
My favorite part of the vods is seeing the hermits chat and chill keep’em coming please!
The pattern on your kitties is so beautiful 😻 they are adorable and you absolutely lit up when they came in.
I've looked up the cat patterns; they're called "classic silver tabbies". "Classic tabby" is the shape, "silver tabby" is the color.
my 9 year old dog died 2/3 weeks ago, it was expected but sudden, so seeing scar so happy with the new kitty's lit up my day!
It's so heartwarming to see how happy Scar is and seeing the new babies. ❤
Scar blowing away cat hair out of context looks like hes trying to summon cthulhu himself xD
A red shirt emoji for Tango's chat is so good
I was so confused for a moment wondering if there was some Star Trek in-joke going on that I hadn't heard about, until I remembered the guessing game.
I really hope you are not allergic to the adorable new cats, that would be too sad! But that can be tested.... And I recommend a cat-door to your room 😊 Lots of love ❤️
I can’t wait for you to see a bogged skeleton in the game. They would look so good in your zoo!
scar just remember you have immortalized jellie forever and know only you van do what you do, no one else will be you and you are doing better than anyone so keep it up, adn the minecraft commuinity love you.
I remember watching our neighbours cats play on our fence wall as kittens as they grew up. Silly little rascals.
They just look like mine! So happy for you to have some new friends to play with
Rest in peace, Jelly
3:50 Wow they’re so calm!
Those are such beautiful cats Scar! So glad you and the family have some new buds to hang out with.
I missed the stream so I'm watching it back and I'm so happy Scar got some new little kitty critters in his family
You can tell he adores them and I'm certain that they'll help Scar heal and I know they'll accompany us and scar on many a Minecraft adventure!
Its so good that you opend your heard for new animals and theyre love
Awwww! They're so handsome! That bold patterning. So happy to see Scar with some precious new companions. 🥰
I lost my kitty Captain Nemo a couple years before the pandemic because he lost weight and couldn't gain it back :( Seeing your new kitties was really fun and they're so cute! It gives me hope that I can also heal enough from losing Nemo to foster a couple new kitties as well
I was literally thinking about asking if scar would ever consider having any other cats on his next stream! IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU SCAR
Your new kitties are so cute! I'm so happy for you! Also I can't wait to see how the zoo comes along.
1:55:40 etho sighting
Yesterday was our cats’ snow and mitten’s birthdays; had they been with us they’d be 8 years old; both were lost to illnesses and unfortunate circumstances that I hope we don’t ever have to face again; but somehow it doesn’t feel like they’re gone you know? I miss em, yet there’s a relief in their kids and now grandkids and their lovely memories…
I hope scar has as long as or even longer a good time with the new lil fur buddies ❤️❤️They’re so beautiful
Jellie would be proud
They both look like Jellie
Minecraft, cats, and Scar. The trifecta for TH-cam.
Scar, I am glad to see you have taken some new furballs into your life so soon. I have too many major renovation projects that need doing before I can adopt new furballs myself.
16:50 My lizard (which basically acts like a cat) always watches intently when I play minecraft.
4:53…. Yall don’t know me at all (obviously) but I NEVER. cry. Maybe I’ve cried three times that I can remember (not counting being a baby) one being when jellie died. And one being at 4:53. Oh my god. Tears are still…. I cant. I’m getting weird looks 😅 but…. I kinda grew up with jellie. And scar. Scar had such a great connection with her and I loved her so much, me and everyone else, even though I never met her, I really loved her like my own cat. But she was scars cat. How much…. I’m sorry I’m not thinking straight how many times I’ve rewatched this clip and started tearing up…. I need a minute 😭 and…. Then when he sat by the door just like queen jellie… o7 we love you. We love you so much scar, and jellie.
#lights The cats can probably hear the lights. I can confirm that all lights make noise. Cats waive “goodbye” with their tales.😉🤭
#trailer I was hoping for something like Who Framed Roger Rabbit…..that fabulous WB shading, smooth transition from real life to and through CGI…… The trailer did NOT deliver.
#allaysPushPlayers 🤯 Why? I want to see a time lapse showing what the allay does with that! Is there a goal? A singular direction? What is it? Are they a danger if you go afk near one for a significant amount of time? What if there’s a drop? 😂
Scott Pilgram versus the world is a FANTASTIC fun film.
Thank you for sharing the kitties with us!
Those big paws!! And grumpy eyes! Gonna be big cats!!
Docs quiet "no more banging" at 1:50:07 should be a horn specifically for Scar
My cat Harley unexpectedly passed away this year. We recently adopted two cats… Finnegan and Ripley! What are the odds 😊 congrats on the bubbys
They're so hefty for kittens! I was expecting little beans but they're chokers. Oohhh gosh they're cute though! Enjoy your lovely new babies Scar :3
