I watched your video a few days ago and was so impressed that I immediately went to Amazon and ordered the Glue Dots. I already have stainless steel single tips even though they're not Everlasting. The Dots came in today and I immediately loaded up one of my pens and tried a few dots on my WIP. Let me tell you, I was really impressed!! Thank you for this video!!! I'm editing this to add a few pros I came up with on my own. 1. You don't get that annoying bounce of the tray when you accidentally push to hard trying to pick up a drill. That bounce usually means that you loose drills on the floor. 2. I never saw even one drill drop off the tip halfway between the tray and the canvas. That happened quite a few times to me when using wax! 3. And finally all you need is a real light touch because barely touching the drills in the tray will pick them up. This is great for people who have wrist problems!
I am so glad you like them - they are all I use now!! Thanks for all the tips that you included. I don't think I can ever go back to any other type of wax - I am spoiled with these - lol!
I send many many thanks for this tip!!! Your a legend!! Its the first time I’ve ever dotted for 3hours straight without stopping. Its unbelievable. I cant believe how much dotting i got done on my painting. Have a wonderful day😊
Thank you so much for this! I don't have actual glue dots, but I have Aleene's TACK-IT Over & Over glue and they say it can be used like glue dots. So I put some tiny dots of glue on a little piece of the backing paper from one of my kits (so it's non-stick) and let them dry. Then I put some in my regular pen - you know, the pink one that comes with every kit. I used 2 little dots at first, but then I put one more in and it has been amazing! I have done about half of a really large 50 x 70 painting before redoing my dots. It used to be so frustrating for me to replace either the pink wax or some blue tack or museum putty or other sticky tack so frequently. And this does not leave any residue on my diamonds! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Great job and much appreciated!
That's all I use also. The glue dots work in the 2 & 3 multi placers. I use the Mini glue dots in the multi placers and the Micro glue dots in the single placers
The glue dots are all I use now too. They also make glue dots in lines, and I have used those in my 2 and 3 multi-placers. I bet the mini dots work great in those small placers too - thanks for the tip!!
I saw this and got my glue dots right away because I find you trustworthy and whip smart. Using them for three days now and iris amazing. I already had everlasting tips on the way. Thank you.
Thanks so much for the video. I too am going to have to purchase some and give them a try. I have such problems with the pink wax. I want to order some of the everlasting tips as well. Your painting is really coming along. Love how it's looking. Thanks again, Grace. Take care.
I was so surprised that I would love these glue dots and everlasting tips so much!! They really take diamond painting to the next level of fun - lol!! I have a lot more done on my DP now - I'm really enjoying it!! Take care my sweet Karen!!
I love the glue dots, so much easier than nano tape. Thanks for the tip about using hand lotion, I usually tap the tip against the canvas to get it less sticky. And I love your nails!! 😊
I'm glad you said that about the nano tape - I'm not going to worry about trying it - love my glue dots!! I tried tapping it on the canvas, and my canvas kept sticking to it - lol!!! Thank you - I'm loving trying different nail tips! 💟
Love the video! Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks! I just have to say, I’m sorry that people are making you feel like you need to rush through things. I’m sure it can be difficult to see feedback like that. I watch your videos because I like the way YOU are. I like seeing your joy about diamond painting, and if you want to spend 5-10 mins just showing us pretty shiny drills, it doesn’t bother me at all!
Thank you so much for your kinds words!! You have made me feel so much better!! You have certainly brightened my day, and I want to thank you for that 🤗🥰💖
That’s very interesting! I have never heard of this product before. You are the first i see use it for DP. I think it’s awesome and sounds a lot more affordable than paddywaxx
Thank you so much! I have been wondering and wanting to use the micro dots. I love all of your tips and tricks! Bring it on. I love your talking. Take care!

Thank you so much for this video I have been wanting to try the glue dots in my pen but didn’t know what to buy or how to put it in the pen. N also seen they had removable ones next to the permanent one too. Again so happy you taught me this great skill!!!!!
You are so welcome!! I just keep putting them into my pen when it loses it stickiness. Once it gets dried out, the glue dots will pull out easily by hand. I don't put new ones in it, unless they are ready to come out on their own. I don't think I can use anything else but glue dots now - lol!!

Thank you Sue - you are so sweet!! When my glue dots aren't sticking as much, I just add another one to the pen - I don't take them out until they might get a bit dry and then they will pull right out. They last a loooong time!!
Hey Grace! I purchased the glue dots from Joanne’s with a 60% off coupon! I am so excited about these little dots. They really do work nicely in the Everlasting Tips. Thanks so much for sharing this awesome tip with us!
Hey Taneshia!! That's awesome you were able to get them at a discount!! I need to start checking Joanne's website out more often for deals like that. I don't have a store close by!! I love the Everlasting Tips too!! Take care!!
I ordered that same painting from DIY Moonshop! Howie Green🥰. It’s beautiful 🙌🏽🙌🏽. Also ordered some micro glue dots to go in my stainless steel pen tips!
Going to have to see if they sell the glue dots here in Canada. I really need something that works more than a few hours. Pink wax seems to poop out in about 30 minutes and it gets a bit frustrating to have to change it all the time. Thank you for sharing this :)
I love these glue dots - they are a game changer. Using them in these everlasting tips is the best. The tips are a bit bigger, so it's easier to get the glue dots or anything else you want to use into them. I call them my dynamic duo!!
I have several different brands and sizes of glue dots and strips. If they are larger, I cut them into pieces. I have been using glue dots pretty much from my start in June, the pink wax and blue tac just do not cut it for me. I even fill the multi placer with them.
Thanks, looking forward to trying these glue dots, as I am have a terrible time with the wax, paddy wax, quake hold, and Blu Tack, I don't know what is going on, but everything is coming out of my pens onto the diamonds and the putty's are getting gooey, its like its almost too hot, never had this problem before, so looking forward to trying out the glue dots and seeing it if solves my problem.
Hello Grace, first I wanted to say I'm sorry for not being around lately. My osteoarthritis and stenosis got really bad. That just set off a lot of things. Not sleeping good and that just set of my depression. I hadn't even been DP for a bit. Thankfully on the 10 I'm have my radiofrequency ablations scheduled. Things will get better without the pain. Love this video. I wanted to get a one kind of glue dots and forgot to the last time I was in town. They sound wonderful to use. You all take care there and have a wonderful labor day weekend 😀. It was wonderful hearing your cheerful voice. 😉. May Jesus bless you and yours, Lin ✝️🐕🐕🐕🐕🐢🐦🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎💖🦒🐧🐲🤗
Hello Lin!!! I am so sorry you haven't been feeling well - I truly know how that depression works when everything else goes wrong - hang in there my sweet friend. I certainly hope things get better for you after you have your ablations done!! I love these glue dots - I can't believe how well they work!! Who would have "thunk" it - lol!! You take care and have a wonderful labor day weekend my dear 🥰💖 Love you and God Bless!! ➕💖🐶🐶🐶🐦💖➕
Atm I use Patafix. It's like Blu Tack, I think. 🤔 It's nice when it comes to the stickiness, but either I put too little or too much in the pen. And there are like little lints (? Sorry, English isn't my first language XD) on the pen tip, if you use it for a longer time. Even when it is still sticky. This leads to the fact that I always have to use my tweezers to "mix" the mass in my tip, so the lints are kneaded into the rest. So I guess I will give these glue dots a try. Sounds great. Thank you!
I had that same problem with the Blu Tack - it left little sticky dots on the drills, so I switched to micro glue dots! They last a long time and they don't leave anything on your drills!! Your English is fantastic!!
Thank you I have been looking for something seems forever & I didn’t know where to look for some things but you’ve answered my question about the glue dots I saw one that had mini dots but no micro dots I Have heard that term used in movies & such as that if you will, Ha! Anyway Be blessed and well 🙏 thanks!
I love these micro dots, but if I get to where I can't find the micros, I'll go for the mini ones. It's just so easy to scoop the micro ones into my tips!! I hope you love them as much as I do - they are great!! Take care 💟
I bought some of the regular size & cant f figure out how to use those I did order some of the mini dots but haven’t received them yet and was hoping there was a way to use the regular sized; do you know of a way?
thanks for the video i ordered some been waiting on them from amazon cant wait id love to order those tips but every time i start the order and see the total i change my mind haha
Thanks so much for this video!!! The only issue I’m having is getting the glue dots to not bunch up to the center of my stainless steel multiplacer tips. They work fine in the single placer, but seemed to have the same issue with the plastic multiplacers. But with the stainless steel multiplacers, the dots kinda bunch up and start to migrate towards the center of the pen, no matter how much I try to keep them spread out across the pen. Any tips?? Do I need to just start placing drills and will that keep it spread out?
I don't use them in my multi-placers. I use Earthquake Hold Museum Putty in them. Here's a link to it on Amazon: www.amazon.com/Quakehold-88111-Museum-Putty-Neutral/dp/B0002VA9NA/ref=sr_1_5?crid=D18RNW3GO07S&keywords=earthquake+putty&qid=1667184784&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIzLjM5IiwicXNhIjoiMi4zNSIsInFzcCI6IjIuMTYifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=earthquake+%2Caps%2C143&sr=8-5
Hi Grace! I am using the glue dots too and so far so great! No problems. This is off topic, but when you have popping drills on a canvas you are working on, do you use the Liquitex to get them to stop popping? Then procede to work on another section? I am having a heck of a time with this Tiger kit. Would love your input.. Thanks so much!
I have just been rolling over my drills on Alice with my small rolling pen, but you could certainly use the Liquitex to hold those naughty drills down!
Hello Grace!! I LOVE your pens you showed with the everlasting tips and looks wood? Where did you get them so I can buy some too please??? Thank you in advance !!! Blessings!!! Oh. I am a single placer but do like a 2 placer. Do you know if they sell a set of 4 2 placers?? Thank you!! SPARKLE FROM WITHIN 💎💖💎💖
The one that looks like wood is actually made of resin - it's coloration makes it look that way. The last place I bought pens was from Bella on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/BellasDPPens?ref=usf_2020 She has great prices, but she is in the hospital right now, but hopefully, will be out soon. 🥰💕💎
I need a large jar for my pens, have in display things but they take up so much room. plus I have good and bad days with the dots, grrrr.... either way I paint on LOL.
They do take up a lot of room - I also have quite a few. I have given several away in giveaways, and will be giving away some more if I ever get to 10,000 subscribers - lol!! I'm loving these glue dots - and I'm glad you told me about them!! We have to keep painting on.... haha!!
gbmaltese help! What am I doing wrong? I tried the glue dots. The big ones. They are a good size to use I think. Idk my first time lol. Anyway, when placing my diamonds, one or two always stay stuck in pen in one area. Also, the glue seems to stretch out while placing. Like its coming out but isn't. Sort of doesn't want to place them. Like it's stickier than the dp. Am I pressing too hard? As far as the diamonds staying one pen, is there too much glue in that area? I have trouble getting it in pen. You make it look easy lol. Very nice videos. I liked the tape idea of making tip stay in pen. Thank you
Hi Lisa!! I only use micro glue dots, as they go into the tips much easier. What I do to get the glue to not be so sticky, is to rub the tip on the back or palm of my hand several times - as this helps tone the stickiness down some. If it still seems too sticky, just do it again. Sometimes, I have to do that during my diamond painting to get that glue to cooperate LOL!! I also only use Everlasting Tips, as they have bigger openings, and the micro dots go in so easily. Please let me know if you have anymore questions. The glue dots really are fantastic to work with!! For my multi-placer, I use Quake Hold putty. Here is a video showing glue dots and the putty - it's a newer video: th-cam.com/video/kZKpJD0PRvY/w-d-xo.html
@@gbmaltese oh thanks so much. I tried rubbing it on my blanket and it had helped but the center part was sticky. Must not have done it good. I have to say it definitely worked better in single Placer as you said. I may still try these big ones and dirty it up some before adding. I had recently tried the blue tac and it lasts so long between uses. I think I like the feel of the glue dots during use best if I can get them right. I'll be getting smaller ones now. Thanks so much for the help and also the video.
@@gbmaltese ooh I think this is a video I watched bit stopped after watching part about glue dots cause I had to start trying it lol. Love idea of putty. And that multi tip is awesome since it's curved omgosh! I may have one I didn't pay much attention to my metal ones when they came. I'm bad. Gonna go look about that too lol
@@Diamondsandpassion Yes, definitely dirty it up a bit - it helps with it not being too sticky. I love my glue dots, and don't use anything else in my single placer. You are so welcome - I'm happy to help1!
I bought my straightener end from Everlasting Tips on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/EverlastingTips This is the only place I buy my tips - they really do last forever!! I bought the pen from Following the Grain on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/FollowingTheGrain?ref=shop_sugg_market It does take a few weeks to get your pens from him.
For some reason, since we have had hotter and more humid weather, my Paddywaxx hasn't been working as well. I will try them in my multi-placers when it cools down a bit.
Grace, what is the advantage of this over other wax? Just longer usage time and no residue? How did you get the idea to use glue dots? I still use plain old wax. Just wondering. Take care and have a good Labor Day weekend. 😎
Hi Lisa!! One of my subscribers mentioned them to me and I thought I would try them out!! They last a long time and there is no residue on the drills - I love them! Hope you enjoy your Labor Day weekend!! 😊
Yes, I am talking about a certain metal tip that I use from Everlasting Tips on Etsy. Here is the link: www.etsy.com/shop/EverlastingTips?ref=shop_sugg
I bought this frome Everlasting Tips on Etsy. Here is a link to the bendy 4-placer: www.etsy.com/listing/1143901756/everlastingtips-bendie4placer?click_key=eb8b46e512ec9b8ff338d68d9459d32ef0ea4fde%3A1143901756&click_sum=884913c0&ref=shop_home_feat_2&sts=1 This is my favorite size of multi-placer and the bendy tip makes it so easy to use!!
I haven't tried the minis - maybe if you try pushing it further in with a toothpick it might help. I use the micro dots, and they work really well. That crazy dot doesn't want to behave for you - just try pushing it in with different things to see if you can get it to stay. Good luck!
Micro glue dots are all I use in my single placers now. I've been using them for over a year, and they last a long time before you have to add anymore to them. I use them in Everlasting Tips, as they are my favorite tips now.
I have bought them from different places. What I do is go onto Etsy and type in the search bar "Wooden Diamond Painting Pens" you will find all kinds at different prices.
If you use the glue dots, you do not use wax. I find the glue dots let me diamond paint a long time before I need to add more of the glue dots. I hope that answers your question 😊
I buy them on Amazon. They are called Micro Glue Dots: www.amazon.com/dp/B00OY1E6LA?linkCode=ssc&tag=onamzgracebab-20&creativeASIN=B00OY1E6LA&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.9QU3HWVH325R&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d_asin&th=1

You take care and have a wonderful labor day weekend my dear 🥰💖
Love you and God Bless!! ➕💖🐶🐶🐶🐦💖➕
Thank you. This is very helpful.
You are so welcome!!
Thanks for sharing ..great tips.
You are very welcome!
I will have to try it grace...ty
I really do like them!!!
Hi Grace👋 I've got some on order, thought I'd try them. Sounds perfect👌
Hi Martine!! I hope you love them as much as i do - they are great!! 💟🙋🏻♀️
@@gbmaltese Thanks! 🥺
I just bought this yesterday !!
Awesome! Hope you like it!!
@@shirleym.9436 You can just cut them into smaller pieces and use them
thanks for the video i ordered some been waiting on them from amazon cant wait id love to order those tips but every time i start the order and see the total i change my mind haha
The glue dots are really great!! If you get a chance to try these tips, I think you will love them. Have a great weekend!!
Hi grace. Can you use the regular glue dots in the pens
I saw this Lol. Great video! I use the “mud” from Etsy for multiplacer. Works great vs PW.
LOL!!! I love the glue dots - they work so well!! Might have to try the "mud"

@@judymcintire7095 Thank you!!
Awesome! Where do you get the everlasting tips? Those look so neat!
I love my Everlasting Tips!! Here is the Etsy store: www.etsy.com/shop/EverlastingTips?ref=shop_sugg
@@gbmaltese thank you sooo much!!! :)
@@carriecharles4423 You are very welcome!!
The last place I bought pens was from Bella on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/BellasDPPens?ref=usf_2020
She has great prices, but she is in the hospital right now, but hopefully, will be out soon.
We have to keep painting on.... haha!!
Beautiful work my friend, I subscribed to your channel, Let's stay connected!
gbmaltese help!
@@Diamondsandpassion I LOVE the curved multi-placer, as it makes multi-placing so much easier. I definitely recommend it!!
Where did you buy tge brown pens with the metal straightener end
I bought my straightener end from Everlasting Tips on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/EverlastingTips This is the only place I buy my tips - they really do last forever!!
I bought the pen from Following the Grain on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/FollowingTheGrain?ref=shop_sugg_market It does take a few weeks to get your pens from him.
I’m going to give these a try next. Did you quit using Paddywaxx?
When you say everlasting tip do mean the ones with metal tils?
Yes, I am talking about a certain metal tip that I use from Everlasting Tips on Etsy. Here is the link: www.etsy.com/shop/EverlastingTips?ref=shop_sugg
Mine sometimes spread around the top of the pen, is that because i have just not pushed it in far enough?
Yes, it will spread out if it's not pushed in far enough, or if it is overfilled. I have had this happen to me too 😊
What are your favorite pens? This is my first video of yours I'm watching
I have so many different ones that I like. I tend to use my wooden and polymer clay pens the most, because they are lighter weight.
@@gbmaltese thanks
Will it pull the coating off of ab's?
It didn't on the ones I used it on!
Grace!!!! Please share to me where you get bendy 4 placer. Lori Roe Rantoul, Ill 10:21 am
I have mini so I only used one but seems like glue dot wants to pop out.? I have all in one everlasting tip
I haven't tried the minis - maybe if you try pushing it further in with a toothpick it might help. I use the micro dots, and they work really well. That crazy dot doesn't want to behave for you - just try pushing it in with different things to see if you can get it to stay. Good luck!
Do the glue dots replace the wax? 😊
Yes. They work great for me and last a long time!! 😀
Are the glue dots or paddy wax better?
Micro glue dots are all I use in my single placers now. I've been using them for over a year, and they last a long time before you have to add anymore to them. I use them in Everlasting Tips, as they are my favorite tips now.
Does the glue dots take off the coating on AB’S?
No, it doesn't
Did you try them in regular tips?
I haven't, but you can use them - it's just a bit harder to get them in there, because those tips are a bit narrower.
Can u use the regular ones
The micro glue dots are easier to get into the tip.
Where can I order a wooden paint pen?
I have bought them from different places. What I do is go onto Etsy and type in the search bar "Wooden Diamond Painting Pens" you will find all kinds at different prices.
What is the difference between using wax and using glue? Do we need to use both? I
So confused 😕
If you use the glue dots, you do not use wax. I find the glue dots let me diamond paint a long time before I need to add more of the glue dots. I hope that answers your question 😊
Let me add that I only use the glue dots in my single placer.
I use wax or putty in my multi-placers. I hope that clears things up for you
@@gbmaltese yes thank you so much
@@gbmaltese oh good to know. Thank you 😊
Does it work well with ab's or rhinstones?
They sure do!! I am using it on rhinestones in this video 😊

I buy them on Amazon. They are called Micro Glue Dots: www.amazon.com/dp/B00OY1E6LA?linkCode=ssc&tag=onamzgracebab-20&creativeASIN=B00OY1E6LA&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.9QU3HWVH325R&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d_asin&th=1
